Mount Saint Vincent Claims First Skyline Conference ChampionshipFebruary 28, 2015Led by 23 points from senior Kelly Fraser (Staten Island, N.Y.) and 19 points from sophomore Brittany Carroll (Staten Island, N.Y.), the College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team cruised to its first ever Skyline Conference title with an overwhelming 76-50 win at top seed Farmingdale State. Fraser was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player after averaging 21 points over two games.

Mount Saint Vincent Topples Sage, Advances To Second Straight Skyline Championship GameFebruary 26, 2015The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team avenged its loss to Sage in the 2014 Skyline Conference Tournament Championship game on Thursday night with a 69-61 semifinal victory at the Peter Jay Sharp Center. The Dolphins had three players score in double-figures with sophomore Christina Barone (Staten Island, N.Y.) leading all scorers with 23 points.

Barone’s Triple-Double Paces Mount Saint Vincent In Regular Season FinaleFebruary 19, 2015College of Mount Saint Vincent sophomore Christina Barone (Staten Island, N.Y.) posted career-highs in assists with 18 and steals with 13, adding 21 points for the program’s first triple-double since 2008 in a 111-51 victory over Yeshiva to close out the regular season. The triple-double is the first for the program since Kaitlin Burud posted 15 points, 10 rebounds and 11 steals against Purchase on February 23, 2008.

Kelly Fraser Collects Sixth Skyline Conference Player Of The Week AwardFebruary 16, 2015College of Mount Saint Vincent senior Kelly Fraser (Staten Island, N.Y.) has been named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week in Women’s Basketball for the second straight week and for a league leading sixth time this season it was announced on Monday afternoon. Fraser And Barone Earn All-Skyline Conference Recognition; Clifford Named Coach Of The YearFebruary 27, 2014The Skyline Conference announced the 2013-14 All-Conference Teams in Women’s Basketball on Thursday morning and the Dolphins were represented on both the First and Second Team and collected two major awards. Junior Kelly Fraser (Staten Island, N.Y.) is a First Team selection and the league’s Defensive Player of the Year and freshman Christina Barone (Staten Island, N.Y.) appears on the Second Team. In addition, Head Coach Kevin Clifford has been picked as the league’s Coach of the Year.
