Brittany Lee Earns Third Skyline Conference Rookie Of The Week Award

New York, N.Y. – College of Mount Saint Vincent freshman Brittany Lee (Newton, N.J.) has been recognized by the Skyline Conference it was announced by the league office on Monday. Lee earned her third Skyline Rookie of the Week Award following a strong two game strecth.

 

Over two league contests last week, Lee averaged 9.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. She opened the week with five rebounds and a block on the road at Sage before she posted her sixth double-double of the season in the regular season finale at Farmingdale State on Sunday. Against the Rams she posted 16 points and 12 rebounds and added an assist, a block and a steal.

 

Lee was the only player on the Mount Saint Vincent roster to start all 25 contests this season and currently ranks second on the team in scoring at 10.0 points per game and second in rebounding at 6.8 boards per outing. Lee also ranks second on the team in three-point field goals made and steals.

 

Mount Saint Vincent closed the regular season at 17-8 overall and at 9-5 in Skyline Conference play. The Dolphins, who earned the fourth seed in this week's league tournament, will travel back to Farmingdale, N.Y. on Thursday when they take on the top-seeded Rams in the semifinal round of the event. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
