Trinity's goal: National championship
Bantams coach James Cosgrove wanted his players to tone it down, but the Trinity players were set on setting their goal for the season as winning a national championship. They were right, he was wrong. Ryan Scott has more.

Vetter carries Trinity to title
Jarrel Okorougo carried Trinity (Conn.) early, and Henry Vetter carried them late, as he scored all 14 of his points in the second half, including the game-winner, to get the Bantams past NYU for the 2025 Division III men's basketball national title.

Trinity: Back and better
Just getting to the Final Four is a challenge, let alone doing it two years in a row. The Trinity Bantams have eight guys back who played in last year's national semifinals, and they are hungrier this time around. Joe Sager has more in a Road to Fort Wayne feature.

For Regans, the Final Four is a family affair
It's Wesleyan's first trip to the Division III men's basketball Final Four. But it's not the first trip for the Regan family. Wesleyan All-Region player Shane Regan's dad was once a D-III player in the Final Four as well. Joe Sager has more in a Road to Fort Wayne feature.

Almost all the way back
“I thought my season was going to be over when I got sick,” WashU point guard Yogi Oliff said. And it was almost over when he broke his wrist, so to get mono on top of it was a huge setback. Only now is he pretty close to 100 percent. Brian Lester has more in a Road to Fort Wayne feature.

Unselfish and together
Last year's NYU men's basketball team centered on one person, but this year's Violets have a new look and new philosophy. Ryan Scott has more in a Road to Fort Wayne feature.

Final Four: It's all UAA, NESCAC
In the first year of the NCAA Power Index, the power conferences certainly got through, as it will be Wesleyan and Trinity (Conn.) of the NESCAC and NYU and Wash U of the UAA who make the trip to Fort Wayne for the Division III national semifinals.

Catholic, La Crosse get big comebacks
Catholic came from 19 points down in the second half, while UW-La Crosse rallied from 16 points down and the Cardinals and Eagles kept their teams in the NCAA Tournament for another night, as Catholic defeated Roanoke in overtime and UW-La Crosse knocked off Illinois Wesleyan. At NYU, it's two teams, but one goal
The NYU men's basketball and women's basketball teams do all of their conference travel together in the UAA, flying halfway across the country at times for games. Even though they're not both allowed to host at the same time, that bond doesn't wane. Joe Sager has more.

Wash U vs. WLC: The rematch
Last year, Washington U. and Wisconsin Lutheran battled to overtime in an epic first-round NCAA Tournament game. This year, the teams with too many ties to enumerate will face off once again, in the Sweet 16. Ryan Scott has more.

Round 2: UWP, R-MC go down

In addition, UMW and WNE continued their runs into the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament, as they defeated hosts Ramapo and Montclair State, and Catholic knocked out Randolph-Macon.

Round 1 men: Three 11's, a 12, a 13 and a 15
The first D-III men's basketball NCAA Tournament in decades to have seedings looked almost exactly like its big-money counterpart, as a No. 15 and a No. 13 seed advanced, along with two 12's and three of the No. 11 seeds. All this came in a nine-hour whirlwind of basketball that left top seeds intact, but lots of interesting things up and down the entire Field of 64.

Men's NCAA Tournament preview
We enter the 2025 Division III men's basketball NCAA Tournament with perhaps less confidence than ever before. Our Top 25 has first place votes split almost evenly among UW-Platteville, NYU, and Wesleyan and there were all sorts of upsets in conference tournaments. But Ryan Scott makes sense of it in his annual NCAA Tournament preview.

Eagles still in flight
It could have gone very wrong. But it didn’t. Now the sky’s the limit for Mary Washington. The sub-.500 Eagles, toughened up by a difficult schedule, put it together and played their way into the NCAA Tournament. Ryan Scott has more.

Who's in? Our projected men's bracket
The job was made much easier for our mock bracketing because we got every single team right! OK, the NPI provides all 21 at-large teams for us to work with, so we just have to make a bracket. Here's what we did and how we did it.
