Kelly Fraser Earns Second Skyline Conference Player Of The Week Award

New York, N.Y. – College of Mount Saint Vincent senior center Kelly Fraser (Staten Island, N.Y.) has been named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week in Women's Basketball it was announced on Monday afternoon. With the recognition on Monday, Fraser has been tabbed the league's Player of the Week twice this season.

 

In the Dolphins' only action of the week, Fraser netted a season-high 26 points and added nine rebounds, three steals and a blocked shot in a 75-70 victory over Albertus Magnus on Monday. Fraser went 10-for-19 from the floor in the game, converting 10 of the team's 23 field goals.

 

Following her performance on Monday, Fraser sits atop the Skyline Conference leaderboard in rebounding. She also ranks tied for third in blocked shots, fourth in field goal percentage and sixth in scoring. Nationally, Fraser sits 34th in rebounds per game and 49th in double-doubles.

 

At 6-2 overall on the season, Mount Saint Vincent will be back in action again on December 29 when it welcomes Mount Ida to the Peter Jay Sharp Center. Tip-off with the Mustangs is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
