MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's basketball l team earned their first win of the season in electric fashion on Saturday night as sophomore Rachel Pope willed in a runner with 1.4 seconds remaining in the game. Pope's only basket of the game gave the Eagles a 57-56 victory over Benedictine University and ended Edgewood College's four game skid.

MADISON, Wis. - If Saturday's season opener proved anything, it proved the Edgewood College women's basketball team will not give in easily and Rachel Pope is turning into quite the offensive weapon. Pope made a school record seven three-point baskets, but the Eagles couldn't stay with Loras College down the stretch in an 80-67 loss at the Edgedome.
