    If you thought the big bushy mustache was the source of Peter Gorman's prodigious scoring prowess, the answer is no. The Ramapo senior guard, freshly shaven, played all 50 minutes and scored a game-high 25 points, seven of them in the overtime periods, as the Roadrunners outlasted Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 89-84 in double OT.

    Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's basketball team defeated Claremont-Mudd-Scripps tonight in double overtime to advance in the NCAA Tournament, 89-85. The Roadrunners move to 21-7 overall while the Stags wrap up the season at 20-8 overall. nThe Roadrunners were led by NJAC Player of the Year, Peter Gorman, who posted 25 points and eight rebounds. Shane Rooney posted a double-double of 12 points and ten rebounds while Jordan Myers scored 23 points. Branden Moore and Tim Linton came off the bench and each posted ten points.

    Montclair, NJ:  The Montclair State University men's basketball team defeated Ramapo College in overtime of the NJAC Championship game, 91-85. The Red Hawks (21-6) earned the conference's automatic bid to the upcoming NCAA Tournament. The Roadrunners (20-7) will wait to hear their name called on Monday afternoon when the full 64-team NCAA bracket is revealed. The selection show is set to air at noon on www.ncaa.com.

The Roadrunners win their fifth straight game and move to 19-6 overall and 13-5 in the league. The Pioneers wrap up the season at 6-19 overall and 2-16 in the league.

The Roadrunners improve to 18-6 overall and 12-5 in the NJAC while the Ospreys move to 17-7 overall and 12-5 in the league.

The Roadrunners (16-6, 10-5 NJAC) win their second straight while head coach Chuck McBreen earned his 450th career coaching victory. The Profs drop to 12-10 overall and 9-6 in the league.

    Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's basketball team won a key NJAC game tonight over Montclair State University, 80-66. The Roadrunners improve to 15-6 overall and 9-5 in the NJAC while the Red Hawks drop to 15-6 overall and 10-4 in the league.
  • GORMAN SCORES 34 POINTS IN ROAD LOSS AT KEAN

    Union, NJ: The Kean University men’s basketball team used a late second-half comeback to defeat Ramapo College tonight, 73-63. The Cougars move to 10-9 overall and 8-4 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 14-5 overall and 8-4 in the league. Ramapo took a 33-28 lead into halftime as Peter Gorman sank a three-pointer at the buzzer. In the second half, Kean would tie the game at 44 with a layup from DJ Alicea with 13:41 on the clock before the Cougars would overcome a seven-point lead. Ramapo led 58-51 with 9:35 on the clock on a three-pointer from Gorman before Kean would go on a 17-1 run over the next 5:44. Kean took a 68-59 lead with less than four minutes to play. Jordan Myers would score the final two baskets for Ramapo in the game while Kean added five more points for the 73-63 NJAC victory.

The Roadrunners win their fourth straight and move to 8-3 overall. The Raiders (6-3 overall) started the season ranked #19 in the D3hoops.com Preseason Top 25 poll and received votes in the last three polls.

    Montclair, NJ:  The Ramapo College men’s basketball team earned an 82-76 NJAC road win over Montclair State University tonight. The Roadrunners improve to 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the NJAC while the Red Hawks fall to 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the conference. The Roadrunners were led by Peter Gorman who tallied a career high 38 points including 26 in the first half. Gorman finished 13-18 from the field, 9-10 from the free throw line and connected on three three-pointers including one to seal the victory with 20 seconds on the clock.

The Roadrunners improve to 18-8 while the Pioneers finish the season at 16-10. Ramapo advances to the NJAC semifinals, Tuesday, February 19 at 7pm when they travel to #1 New Jersey City University.

    Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's basketball team won the 2018 NCAA Division III Sectional Championship in a thrilling 68-66 victory over the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this evening in a game played in the Bradley Center. With the win, the Roadrunners advance to the Final Four for the second time in program history. The 1991 Roadrunners finished with a 24-8 overall mark, advancing to the NCAA Final Four. The win also concludes a perfect 14-0 record for the Roadrunners at home this season.
