December 28, 2023No. 8 Case Western Reserve closed the second day of the 2023 D3hoops.com Classic with a dominating win over No. 4 Oswego State, and No. 22 Trinity (Texas) stayed perfect in a thriller against Clark. In earlier action, the Ohio Northern women knocked off No. 10 Trinity (Texas) and Rhodes took two games from SCIAC foes.

March 03, 2023The eighth-ranked Case Western Reserve University men’s basketball team notched its first-ever home postseason victory, defeating Arcadia University 82-76 in front of a raucous crowd at Horsburgh Gymnasium on Friday night in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championship.

#14 CWRU Clinches Outright UAA Championship with 95-91 Win at Carnegie Mellon
February 25, 2023Case Western Reserve University senior forward Cole Frilling scored a season-high 30 points and graduate student guard Danny Frauenheim added a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists to lead the 14th-ranked Spartans to a 95-91 win at Carnegie Mellon University in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh.

#21 CWRU Men’s Basketball Takes Sole Possession of First in UAA with 75-74 Win at #22 WashU
February 17, 2023Graduate student guard Mitch Prendergast knocked down a three-pointer with 18.9 seconds left to give the 21st-ranked Case Western Reserve University men’s basketball team a 75-74 win over 22nd-ranked Washington University (Mo.) on Friday night in St. Louis. The win gives the Spartans sole possession of first place in the University Athletic Association standings with two games remaining in the regular season.
