Women's

Kwashanti Holmes

Holmes averaged 31 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and four steals per game, shooting 66% from the floor and 71% from three in a 2-0 week for Keystone, highlighted by a career-high and program-record 43 points vs. Clarks Summit. Against the Defenders, Holmes shot 16-of-23 from the field and tallied the second-ever triple-double in program history (43/14/10).

 

Madison Quan

Quan averaged 31 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and seven steals in her two games during the week.  She continued her late season tear, setting a single game record with 10 steals against Caltech.  

 

Elise Sylvester

Sylvester averaged 30 points and five rebounds per game, while totaling five assists and three steals in league wins over Centenary (N.J.) and Cabrini. She shot 50% from the floor on the week, including 8-12 from three.

 

Maggie Russell

Russell was instrumental in Tufts' NESCAC quarterfinal win, as she posted a career-high 40 points, going 11-of-17 from the floor (and 50% from three) while making all 16 free throws she took on the day in a 75-61 win over Bowdoin. She added 13 rebounds and two assists.

 

Mac-Dege Dessources

Dessources averaged 22 points and 18 rebounds per game while shooting 52% from the floor and 61% from the free throw line on the week for the Cardinals. She had a monster display in York's 68-60 CUNYAC tournament first-round upset at Baruch, pouring in 21 points and hauling in a clutch 20 boards.

 

Men's

Dylan Thoerner

Thoerner took over in the OT period of an 88-80 NESCAC quarterfinal upset at Middlebury. He scored 14 of his 30 points after regulation, shooting 8-16 from the floor, adding 11 of 11 from the FT line along with two rebounds and two assists.
 
 

Spencer Freedman

Freedman scored game-highs of 25 and 21 points in victories over UAA opponents Emory and Rochester on the road. He shot 9-for-16 (6-for-9 from 3-point range) against Emory and 8-for-16 (2-for-5 from 3-point range) vs. Rochester in leading NYU to its fourth-straight victory. Against Emory, he also had a game-high eight assists to go with two rebounds and a steal. Against Rochester, he added three assists, three rebounds, and two steals.

 

Raheem Anthony

Anthony averaged 31 points and nine rebounds per game in leading the Cardinals to a pair of conference wins. He scored 29 points with five rebounds against Bethel before adding 33 points and 13 rebounds against Gustavus Adolphus three days later.  Anthony shot 60% from the field, 17 of 18 from the FT line.

 

Umar Rashid

Rashid helped the Spartans clinch their first-ever University Athletic Association championship with a pair of wins over the weekend. Rashid averaged a team-high 19 points and eight rebounds per game off the bench. He shot 54% overall, including 56% from three-point range. Against Chicago, in the clinching game, Rashid shot 7 of 10 from three, one shy of the program record.

 

Kamden Ross

Ross was outstanding last weekend with the Mountaineers' season on the line and a bid into the SCAC tournament up for grabs. Over two contests he poured in 35 points and grabbed 34 rebounds, posting a double-double in each game, highlighted by his 23 points, 22 rebound performance in the Mountaineers' win over Texas Lutheran on Saturday, in a must win game to extend the season.
