Women's

Damaris Rodriguez

Rodriguez led Jersey City to a pair of NJAC victories this week. She averaged 25 points, eight rebounds and eight assists over 38 minutes per game. She began with game-highs in points, assists, and rebounds in Wednesday's road 70-51 win at Camden. Then, in Saturday's buzzer-beating 59-56 win over Stockton, Rodriguez again led all players in points and assists and had a team-high in rebounds. With time set to expire, Rodriguez got the ball baseline and drained the game-winner (and drew the foul and made the shot), which is both amazing and amazingly routine for Rodriguez.

Claire Brock

Brock led the Eagles in scoring over the weekend, averaging 23 points per game as Emory went 2-0 at home against Carnegie Mellon and CWRU. Brock went for 22 and 23 points in back-to-back games while shooting 40%, (6-for-13) from three, across the two games. She added an 11-for-14 mark from the FT line over the weekend and doled out six assists to go along with one steal and one block.  She also had just one turnover in two games.

Jess Broad

Broad averaged 26 points and seven rebounds across a pair of wins for Stevens. Against Arcadia, Broad had 23 points with 11 boards for her third double-double of the season. She then topped that performance by pouring in 28 points on 14 of 19 shooting in the Ducks victory over Lycoming. All totaled, Broad had 51 points, 14 rebounds, 10 steals, seven assists and five blocks. She shot 24 for 35 (69%) and made all of her free throws.

Mary Schleusner

Schleusner dominated the boards, helping W&L stay atop the ODAC standings with a pair of conference wins, by pulling down a program-record 23 rebounds against Roanoke, followed by another 16 boards in a road win at R-MC. In her 23-rebound game, Schleusner paced the offense with 25 points.  She not only recorded 16 rebounds in the win over Randolph-Macon, but she also blocked seven shots.  For the week, Schleusner averaged 22 points, 20 rebounds and five blocks per game.

Daniah Beavers

Beavers was the rock upon which Albion knocked off No. 9 Hope, the first team (not named Trine) to beat the Flying Dutch since March of 2019. She scored 17 in the win, on 8-9 shooting, and pulled down 17 rebounds - the advantage on the boards was key to Albion's success.  On teh week, Beavers averaged 15 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks to go with an astronomical 78% shooting.

Men's

Ethan Edwards

Edwards averaged 22 points per game in just 28 minutes off the bench, shooting 47% from the field and 64% from 3-point range. In a 73-65 loss at WashU, he had 15 points, one rebound, and an assist. Then, at Chicago, he had a career-high 29 points to lead all scorers, including eight in the last minute and four in the last 12 seconds as the Judges rallied for a 66-65 victory. With 5.8 seconds left, he hit the game-winning 3-pointer. Edwards also grabbed a team- and career-high eight rebounds against the Maroons.

Kyle Poerschke

Poerschke led the Comets to a pair of road wins, allowing them to stand on top of the ASC standings. He averaged 34 points and six rebounds per game while shooting 62% (24-for-39) from the field and 67% (10-for-15) from outside. Poerschke scored 25 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 75-69 win at East Texas Baptist. He followed by breaking the school record with 43 points to go with seven boards in UT-Dallas's 89-81 win at LeTourneau.

Quinn Steckbauer

Steckbauer averaged 22 points, shooting 64% from the field, 75% from three and 100% from the line in wins against UW-Whitewater and No. 23 UW-La Crosse. After scoring 13 points and going six-of-10 from the field against Whitewater, he set career-bests in points (30), three-pointers made (five) and free throws made (nine) at La Crosse in a 78-73 second half comeback win over the Eagles.

Steve Quinn

Quinn scored 34 and 33 points in the two road games for the Cowboys this week. He had 34 at UMHB and added 33 with seven assists against Concordia (TX). Quinn was 24-of-42 from the field in the two games and 15-of-16 at the free throw line. For the week, he averaged 34 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals per game.

Jackson Meshanic

Meshanic posted three double-doubles to lead Hobart to a 2-1 week on the road in Liberty League play. He produced 29 points, 10 rebounds, and one viral moment in the Statesmen's 77-74 win at Union. Meshanic was 12-of-18 shooting, including a career-high five 3-pointers; his biggest shot of the game was the game-winner. With 0.8 seconds remaining in a tie game, Meshanic caught a three-quarters of the length of the court pass, turned and fired a shot that banked in ahead of the final buzzer. At Bard, he recorded 23 points and a career-high 17 rebounds in Hobart's 85-64 win. Finally, at Skidmore, Meshanic scored 25 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in a tight 69-66 loss. For the week, he shot 60% from the floor (30-50), 60% from 3-point range (6-10), and 79%at the free throw line (11-14).
