Women's

Bri Frongillo

Frongillo led Emerson to a big win over perennial NEWMAC power Babson in Emerson's only game of the week. She scored 24 with nine rebounds and eight assists, shooting 50% from the floor, including a perfect 5-5 in the crucial third quarter as the Lions pulled away for good. Frongillo played all 40 minutes of the game.
 
 

Sofia Gonzalez

Gonzalez helped Tufts post a 2-0 weekend with home wins over Williams and Middlebury. Gonzalez averaged 19 points per game in the two wins shooting 46% overall while nailing 58% from 3-point range. Gonzalez also added five rebounds per game. Against Williams, the guard posted 13 points and four rebounds, going 3-of-5 from 3-point range, including hitting a key three with 1:25 remaining in the contest to help seal the win for the Jumbos. Against Middlebury, Gonzalez posted a career-high 25 points, making four of her seven 3-point attempts. 

 

Catherine Or

Or averaged 22 points and six rebounds for Carnegie Mellon as the Tartans split action over the weekend against two nationally-ranked opponents. She tallied 19 points and shot 46% from the floor in a close loss at the University of Chicago. Then on Sunday, Or led the Tartans to the program's first win against WashU since 1993 with 25 points, six rebounds, and a career-best eight assists. For the two games, she shot 50% from the floor, including a 71% effort from the three-point line, and converted 15-of-16 attempts from the free throw line.

 

Mary Schleusner

Schleusner had a monster week for W&L, leading the Generals to 2-0 in ODAC play with averages of 28 points and 27 rebounds per game, while blocking two shots and coming away with two steals. She began the week with 25 points and 24 rebounds in a 62-59 win over Shenandoah in a rematch of last season's ODAC championship game, before posting 31 points and 31 rebounds in a convincing 77-50 win at Roanoke on Saturday.

 

Zoe Tomlinson

Tomlinson had a historic weekend. On Friday, she became the all-time leading rebounder in Colorado College history, and then on Sunday, she tied her single-game career high in blocks and steals, leading the Tigers to a 70-51 over McMurry. For the first time in her career, Tomlinson played back-to-back 30-plus-point games. She finished the weekend with averages of 35 points, 16 rebounds, one assist, three blocks, and two steals per game. 
 

 

Men's

Luke Frazier

Frazier guided JCU to wins over two of the teams that entered the week tied for first in the OAC. He led all scorers with 21 points against Heidelberg, adding eight assists, seven rebounds, and three blocks. Frazier then tallied a double-double with 18 rebounds & 12 points against Muskingum, adding five assists. He averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists on the week, shooting 51% from the floor and 62% from deep.

 

Tye-Rell Monroe

Monroe lit it up for St. Elizabeth this week, in two very close conference games. He averaged 41 points and six rebounds, shooting 59% from the floor and 45% from three. Monroe scored 38 points in a win over Berks and 43 (including 14-for-18 shooting from the free throw line) in a tight loss to conference power, PSU-Harrisburg.

 

Sean Neylon

Neylon shot the lights out in a pair of road victories this week, averaging 27 points per game while making an astounding 14 three-pointers in two games. At Juniata, he shot 80% from the field (8-10) while knocking down 7-9 threes, finishing with 23 points, five assists, and two steals in the win. Neylon followed that up with a career-high 30 points on the road at Scranton, hitting seven more threes while handing out two more assists in a 20-point victory. 

 

AJ Rohosy

Rohosy averaged 30 points and 14 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Stags, which resulted in a pair of two-point wins that came down to the final shot. He had 36 points and 16 rebounds in a 99-97 win over Redlands, including the winning free throws with 27 seconds left. Rohosy followed with 24 and 12 in a 71-69 win over Chapman. He finished the week shooting 74% from the floor (25-34).      

 

Marcus Montagnino

Montagnino produced an all-time performance for the Gulls record books in a 104-100 overtime victory against Hartford on Saturday. He posted just the second triple-double in program history, with a career-high 33 points, a career-high 13 assists, and 11 rebounds. Montagnino also led the charge in an 86-72 victory over Roger Williams, the defending CNE champion, with a game-high 31 points (11-17 FG, 9-11 FT) and a career-high 16 rebounds. On the week, he averaged 32 points per game, a 67% field goal percentage, 14 rebounds, eight assists (3.8 a/to), and one steal in 36 minutes per contest.
