The 15th annual D3hoops.com Classic returns to the South Point Arena in Las Vegas this season with a 17-team lineup, nine men's teams and eight women's teams. 

With 17 teams playing 17 games over 76 hours, the D3hoops.com Classic is the biggest event of its type in Division III basketball, and this set of teams include two Elite 8 teams from this past March and teams hopeful of competing in March of 2026.

The event takes place Dec. 27 through Dec. 30, and it is played in an arena, not a ballroom. And it features some new teams! The Amherst women have been to the tournament multiple times, but this year will be the first time the Amherst men make the trip. Similarly, Occidental's men are joining the Oxy women, while Whittier, Bridgewater State and Redlands will also have both teams there.

Come and watch all 17 games? Sure. It's Vegas. Who needs to sleep? Patrick Coleman, Gordon Mann and Dave McHugh will also be on-site to broadcast all 17 games for D3hoops.com, and all video streams will be free of charge -- no pay-per-view here.
