Women's

Mallory Powers

Powers was tremendous for Illinois Wesleyan as the Titans ran their record to 18-0 on the year and 9-0 in CCIW play, averaging 19 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and three steals per game, shooting 62% from the field and 67% from behind the arc. Powers began the week with a career-high 21 points at Millikin with a game-high 10 rebounds, then finished the week with 17 points, six boards, seven assists, two steals, and a block in a 93-57 win over Wheaton.
 
 

Grace Jaffray

Jaffray averaged 31 points and 12 rebounds as JWU went 2-0 last week to improve to 15-2 on the season - their best start in a decade. She opened the week with a 29-point, 12-rebound effort in a win over Albertus Magnus on Tuesday, then scored a game-high 32 points to go with 12 boards in a road win at Colby-Sawyer on Saturday.  Jaffray averaged 31 points, 12 boards, and three steals, shooting 60% from the field and 57% from three.

 

Kacie Carollo

Carollo led the Warhawks to two wins on the week with impressive efficiency. She shot 63% from the field and 64% from three, scoring an average of 27 points per game, with 14 rebounds and four assists.  The guard is just the second player in school history to amass 750 rebounds and the first in 40 years.

 

Angelina Kohlwaies

Kohlwaies had the most productive week of her career, scoring an all-time high of 26 in the Mounties victory against Pitt-Greensburg, while going 9-for-15 from the field and 6-for-9 from three point range, along with six assists and seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. She then followed that up with 25 points on 9-for-10 shooting in a victory against Pitt-Bradford.  Kohlwaies averaged 26 points, six rebounds, six assists, and three steals while leading the Mounties to a 2-0 week.

 

Sarah Santicola

Santicola led Allegheny to a crucial win over Chatham to take sole possession of second in the league standings.  She posted 16 points and a game-high 16 rebounds, shooting 70% from the field with five assists and two steals.  Santoicola also played a key role in limiting Chatham to its second-worst field goal percentage and third-lowest rebound total of the season.
 

 

Men's

Lence Altenor

Altenor averaged 24 points, seven rebounds, and four assists during a perfect 2-0 week for the Bluejays. He was extremely efficient shooting the ball, posting 73% from the floor, 75% from deep, and 88% from the FT line.

 

Andre Renta

Renta averaged 22 points and seven assists per game to help UW-Eau Claire win a pair of WIAC contests, including a victory that knocked UW-Stevens Point out of the Top 25 poll.  He scored 23 points, dished eight assists, and nabbed three steals in just 29 minutes on the floor against UW-Stout, finishing the game with a 4.0 assist-to-turnover ratio, then followed with 20 points, six assists, and three rebounds in the upset of the Pointers.

 

Zevi Samet

Samet had a pair of monster games this week, leading YU to two conference wins. Against St. Joe's (Brooklyn), he tallied 36 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and one assist; the Macs needed every one of his 10 threes to win in overtime. Against Old Westbury, Samet put up 29 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  His weekly averages were 33 points, six rebounds, and three assists - he also shot 50% from three (16-32).

 

Jax Madson

Madson led the Vikings to pair of conference wins this week, averaging 29 points per game. The senior posted a massive night in Wednesday's two-point win over Martin Luther, scoring 37 points on 14-of-20 shooting including 6-of-11 from long range while adding five rebounds and four assists. He followed that up with 20 points in Saturday's 104-92 win over North Central, adding eight rebounds and three assists.   

 

Garrett Cox

Cox rewrote his career high in points the last two weeks as his 32-point game against MAC Commonwealth-leading York (Pa.). In the two wins this week, he averaged 26 points and eight rebounds, shooting 69% from the floor and 66% from three. He had just one turnover on the week.
