Women's

Taylor Brunson

Brunson was nearly unstoppable in Coe's 2-0 week.  She scored 23 points with four rebounds, three steals, and two assists vs. Simpson, then turned in a historic performance, tying the single-game scoring record with 37 points against Buena Vista. Brunson was 15-of-21 from the floor with nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals. 

 

Riley Hevelow

Lebanon Valley needed every bit of Hevelow's career-high 31 points  to beat York 76-74 in LVC's only game of the week. Hevelow shot 13-of-19 from the field, hit half her three point attempts and added six rebounds, an assist, and a steal.

 

Ava Haus

Haus scored a career-high 37 points in the Saints' 64-52 win over St. Mary's (Minn.). She was 12-for-23 from the field and 4-for-10 from long range with a 9-for-10 mark at the free-throw line. Haus also turned in a 19-point performance three days earlier in a win at Carleton, where she shot 6-for-9 from the field and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc.

 

Kylie Grassi

Grassi averaged 21 points, eight rebounds, two assists and three steals in a perfect 2-0 week for the Bears, where she shot 40% from the three point line.  Grassi was the dominant force in Bridgewater's win over No. 19 UMass-Dartmouth, scoring 30 points to go along with nine rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  She also broke the school's career scoring mark in the victory.

 

Sara Booher

Booher posted a triple double in Grinnell's 67-65 home victory over Knox.  She had 23 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 blocks.  Booher added seven boards and two blocks against Lawrence later in the week.

 

Men's

Gregory Gonyea, Jr.

Gonyea led VTSU Lyndon to two wins this week.  He scored a game high 27 points, including the go ahead basket with 14 seconds remaining, as the Hornets rallied from 14 points down in the second half to defeat Elms.  On Saturday, Gonyea again led the Hornets with 21 points as Lyndon secured their first NAC win at VTSU Johnson in ten seasons.  He averaged 24 points, six rebounds, and six assists on the week, shooting 53% from the field and 44% from three.

 

Adam Brazil

Brazil scored a game-high 31 points, including shooting a perfect 13-13 on free throws, adding four assists, two rebounds, and two steals during an 85-80 home win  over Roanoke College.  He followed with a game-high 25 points, making 8-12 field goals and again shooting a perfect 8-8 from the FT line in a 79-72 road win at archrival Randolph-Macon (the first season sweep of the Yellowjackets since 2013).

 

Justin Allen

Allen led Carnegie Mellon to a 2-0 record over the weekend at the NESCAC-UAA Challenge. He opened play in the Tartans' 69-66 win over Bowdoin scoring 36 points on 57% shooting and went a perfect 8-of-8 from the foul line. Allen then scored 24 points in the Tartans' 80-75 win over Middlebury. On the week, he averaged 30 points, four rebounds, and two assists.

 

Bruce Saintilus

Saintilus helped guide the Cougars to a pair of NEWMAC wins this week by averaging 22 points, 10 assists, and three rebounds per game. He shot 62% from the floor, 86% (6-7) from three-point range (6/7), and 92% from the free throw line. Saintilus opened his week with 20 points and 11 assists in a 100-85 victory over Wheaton.  Then, in a 91-80 win against Salve Regina, Saintilus matched a season-high with 24 points to go along with eight assists. 

 

Tate Ivanyo

Ivanyo led the conference for the week with 25 points per game as Anderson locked up wins against Franklin and Berea. He also turned in averages of six rebounds and three steals per game. Ivanyo drained 19-of-20 free throws and 40% of his shots from 3-point range. Ivanyo notched 29 points, five rebounds, and three steals against Franklin, then contributed 20 points, six rebounds, and two steals against Berea.
