Women's

Kasey Schipfer

Schipfer matched her career high with 34 points on 14-22 shooting, with four rebounds and three assists in Ohio Wesleyan's win at Hiram, then scored a team high 27 (including 13 in the fourth quarter) to top Wittenberg 69-56.  In that second game, she topped 2000 career points.  Schipfer's weekly averages were 30 points, six rebounds, and three assists per game, shooting 64% from the floor and 67% from three.
 
 

Erianna Moore

Moore led MMA to a 2-0 week, scoring 21 points per game and dishing out 14 total assists against just one turnover per game. She shot 52% from the floor and a blistering 58% (11-19) from deep.  In a win over UMaine-Farmington, she led all scorers with 20 points on a game-high-tying four 3-pointers, passed for six assists, made two steals, and had three rebounds. Then in a convincing victory over local rival Husson to clinch the No. 1 NAC East seed, she led all student-athletes with 21 points on 7-for-9 shooting from three-point land and a season-high eight assists.

 

Sydney Carr

Carr averaged 24 points per game and shot 50% from the field to help lift Carlow to two AMCC victories this week. Against Pitt Greensburg she led the Celtics with a double-double, game-high 20 points and 15 rebounds. She dished out four assists and picked up four steals. Against Pitt Bradford, Carr led Carlow with 28 points, nine assists, and four steals.

 

Arielle Cleveland

Cleveland played just one game this week, but it was a doozy! She poured in a career-high 30 points and pulled down 14 rebounds in a key conference win over 72-53 Framingham State. Cleveland knocked down a career-high eight three-pointers and also added an assist, a steal, and a blocked shot in the victory.

 

Mary Schleusner

Schleusner put two big games together to lead Washington & Lee to a 2-0 week, as she averaged 28 points per game on 61% shooting from the floor. Schleusner first went for 26 points and 26 rebounds in a nine-point win at Randolph, where she made 11-of-19 shots and added four assists, one block, and two steals, before posting a 30-point, 17-rebound game in a 91-57 win at home over Lynchburg.
 

 

Men's

Soren Richardson

Richardson averaged 41 points per game last week as he helped lead Wheaton to a road win at North Park and a victory at home against Carroll.  He shot 63% from the field, including 53% from three-point range.  In the 102-89 victory at North Park, Richardson scored a career-high 53 points on 78% shooting.  Then on Saturday he scored a game-high 29 points in Wheaton's 91-81 victory at home against Carroll.

 

Casey Verhagen

Verhagen posted a stellar week averaging 37 points per game.  He started the week with 44 points against Lakeland, where he shot 68% from the field and added a career-best 10 assists to go with his four rebounds and three steals.  Verhagen then tallied 29 points and shot 64% from the field against Rockford to go with his eight assists, three steals, and two rebounds.

 

Armonie Ramey

Ramey averaged 24 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and five steals in two huge Howard Payne wins over East Texas Baptist and LeTourneau University. He had 21 points with seven steals versus ETBU and followed that with 27 points and six assists versus LeTourneau. 

 

Eddie Volkerts

Volkerts averaged 29 points and 13 rebounds per game, helping guide the Mariners to a 2-0 record in GNAC play. He added three steals and three assists per contest, while shooting 69% (25-36) from the floor. In the win over Anna Maria, Volkerts finished with 29 points (12-18), 12 rebounds, three steals, and two assists, while also sealing the win for Mitchell with a buzzer beating layup in overtime. He was right back at it on Saturday, scoring 29 points (13-18) and grabbing 13 rebounds, guiding the Mariners past New England College.

 

Jake Harrison

Harrison opened the week by collecting a double-double in a blowout win over defending conference champion, Roger Williams. He scored a team high 22 points while grabbing 16 rebounds and picking up five assists and a block.  At Nichols College, Harrison came away with another double-double for WNE, dropping 21 points and collecting 14 rebounds in the win.
