Women's
Kacie Carollo
Carollo became UW-Whitewater's all-time leading rebounder Saturday, breaking a record that had stood for 41 years. She shot 67% from the floor, 63% from three-point range, and was perfect (10-10) at the free throw line over the course of two games last week. Carollo registered a 26-point, seven rebound, five assist, and five steal performance against UW-Platteville before capping the week with a career high against UW-Eau Claire; she knocked down 11-16 including 6-10 from long range for 34 points against the Blugolds. For the week, Carollo averaged 30 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals in just over 37 minutes of action per contest.
Summer McNulty
McNulty finished off a 2-0 week for the Blue Jays with a season and game-high 24 points on Saturday to hand No. 4 Scranton their first loss of the season, 70-64, the most points the Royals have allowed to a team and individual this year. McNulty was efficient from the floor, hitting on 6-of-10 shots, including 4-for-5 from three and all eight attempts at the foul line against the Royals. For the week, McNulty hit over 50% from the field, 75% from three, and was perfect at the foul line.
Mackenzie Barricklow
Barricklow wrapped up her career with two big games. She scored 19 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished six assists in a narrow loss to Grove City, then in the final game of her career at Franciscan, scored a career high 30 points, making 8-of-16 from three-point range to tie the school record, while also matching her career high with 19 rebounds to go along with six assists, five steals, and three blocks. For the week she averaged 25 points on 49% shooting, with 14 rebounds, six assists, four steals, and two blocks.
Samaree Perkins
Perkins helped the Comets stave off a second half comeback from Wilmington by pouring in 25 points on 70% shooting, while also adding 14 rebounds and four assists. Against Otterbein, she helped the Comets rout the Cardinals with 16 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks, two steals, and one assist - nailing her 1000th career point in the final two minutes.
Erianna Moore
Moore led Maine Maritime to its third consecutive North Atlantic Conference championship berth with 23 points and six assists per game in two NAC Tournament wins. She also averaged eight rebounds, shot 60% from the field, made 7 of 14 three-point attempts, and had a 4.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. She highlighted her week with a season-high 32 points (13-18 FGs, 5-7 3FGs) to lead all scorers in a win over rival Husson, 88-59, as MMA set the highest scoring mark in the 49-game series for either side and its largest ever margin of victory over the Eagles.
Men's
Reed Kemp
Kemp averaged 33 points and four rebounds as Maryville went 2-0 for the week and vaulted into the No. 1 seed for the Collegiate Conference of the South Tournament. He scored 36 points at Covenant and 30 in Maryville's 77-72 victory at Belhaven, shooting 52% from the floor, including 9-of-15 from 3-point distance.
Giovani Rubino
Rubino wrote a Hollywood ending to his storied career, scoring 43 points and making the game-winning basket with 0.5 seconds left in the Mules' season-ending 82-81 win at McDaniel. The 43 points were one short of the school record, the most scored by a Muhlenberg player in a regulation game since 1971, and the most ever scored by a Centennial Conference player not from Ursinus. Rubino went 16-of-23 from the field, including 7-of-9 from three-point range, and 4-for-4 from the line to end his career with 40 consecutive free throws made.
Antonio Redding
Redding delivered a standout performance this week, setting five career highs and averaging 37 points per game, shooting 69% (22-for-32) from the field, 75% (12-for-16) from beyond the arc, and 94% (17-for-18) from the free-throw line. His efforts helped the Aggies go 2-0 in conference play, securing the No. 2 ranking in the playoffs. In the 78-72 victory over Stevens, Redding recorded a career-high 47 points, knocking down eight three-pointers, 14 field goals, and 11-of-12 free throws, leading the Aggies past the Ducks.
Zay Brown
Brown averaged 25 points and 17 rebounds over two games as the Fighting Scots secured the #1 seed in the MWC Tournament and tied a school record with 20 wins on the season. Wednesday, in a home win over Cornell, Brown tied his season and career high with 31 points and added 19 rebounds with two assists, one block, and two steals. On Saturday against Grinnell Brown had 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting with 4-for-5 at the free throw line. He added 14 rebounds, a season-high six assists, and one block.
Jack Boyle
Boyle lifted the Crusaders into a spot for the upcoming SCAC Tournament with a pair of wins over Ozarks and Centenary at home to close out the regular season. He averaged 15 points on a spectacular 71% shooting and grabbed an astounding 20 rebounds per game, including a 22-rebound performance in the win over the Gents. Boyle, who leads the SCAC in assists per game, also added five assists per game, swiped three steals per contest, and blocked four shots per night.
