    BEREA, Ohio – Despite a late rally and getting as close as two points down, a 25-2 run by No. 7 Baldwin Wallace from the second to third quarter proved to be the difference, as the No. 19 Washington and Lee women's basketball team saw its 2024-25 season come to an end, 75-71, on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship.

Swarthmore moved off the bubble and into the Big Dance by beating Johns Hopkins in the Centennial men's final, Trinity (Conn.) avenged its lone loss against Williams, and Mary Schleusner had a performance for the ages in the ODAC women's title game.
