Willimantic, CT--The Lasers faced an experienced squad from Tufts in the opening round of the ECSU Tournament this weekend. The Jumbos, coming off a 21 win season, proved too much for the young Lasell team, downing the Lasers 88-34. Tufts controlled most of the play on both sides of the ball. Lasell shot just 30% from the floor and the Jumbo defense forced the Lasers to committ 27 turnovers.
