March 7, 2026 Trinity, Emory survive; Hood moves on The round of 16 is set in Division III men's basketball, and that included Trinity (Conn.) once again needing to rally from a second-half deficit to win. Ben Pearce reached 2,000 career points as top seed Emory needed overtime to survive, while Hood ran past Redlands, Endicott survived at the buzzer, and much more in the second round.
March 4, 2026 Men's NCAA Tournament preview Last year, Ryan Scott picked three of the Final Four teams correctly, including both teams in the national title game, and was just a couple of buckets away from getting the whole thing right. This year, he promises to do better. It's his annual Division III men's basketball NCAA Tournament preview.

December 3, 2025 Wednesday: Opening statements Conference play began across the country with No. 2 Randolph-Macon blitzing No. 8 Hampden Sydney in the ODAC, Chapman tripping No. 5 Redlands in the SCIAC, and No. 10 Illinois Wesleyan holding off Carthage in the CCIW. Elsewhere, No. 1 Trinity survived its trip across town to St. Joseph, and the Ohio Wesleyan women topped John Carroll in their Top 25 showdown.
