Framingham, Mass. – Senior captain forward Shay Ajayo (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 71-60 victory over the Framingham State University Rams in men's basketball action this evening.  Trinity, ranked No. 12 in the nation, evens its season mark at 1-1 while the Rams fall to 1-4.

Trinity trailed, 39-38, after  layup by Framingham's  Matt Diver (Abington, Mass.) with 15:23 remaining in the second half, but rattled off the gaem's next 19 points run over a seven-minute span minutes capped by an old-fashioned three point play from junior guard Chris Turnbull (Ridgewood, N.J.) that gave the Bantams a 57-38 lead with 8:16 on the clock.  Trinity opened up its largest lead of the night, 62-42, 1:06 later on a trey by senior captain guard Jaquann Starks (Hartford, Conn.) and led by a comfortable margin the rest of the way.

Starks  led the visitors with 13 points on 4-of-10 shooting from the field, while junior forward Ed Ogundeko (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added eight boards, and junior guard Langdon Neal (Chicago, Ill) and sophomore Eric Gendron (Merrimack, NH) chipped in with nine points apiece off the bench.  The Rams were led by 16 points from senior guard Tim McCarthy (Wilmington, Mass.), sophomore Tony Alexandre (Hyde Park, Mass.) who added 13 points to go along with eight boards, and junior Daniel Gould (Quincy, Mass.) added 13 points.  Trinity outrebounded the Rams, 46-27, to offset a rough night from long range with three three-point field goals in 16 tries.
