    Nashua, N.H. – Sophomore Ryan Gauthier (Nashua) tallied a game-high 23 points including 18 in the first half with six three-pointers and Eric Webster (Oakland, Cal.) notched 18 points guiding host Daniel Webster past Fitchburg State, 83-69 in a regional matchup Tuesday night at Mario Vagge Gymnasium. Daris Cosby (Albany, N.Y.) picked up 14 points, draining four from outside, as the Eagles remained undefeated improving to 8-0 continuing its best ever start and topped the Falcons for the first time since 2010.

    Aiden Collins (Paterson, N.J.) converted a layup with 16 seconds remaining in overtime to give host Daniel Webster a 93-92 lead and the Eagles held on the closing seconds for wild and physical 94-92 victory over Regis in a NECC contest Saturday at Mario Vagge Gymnasium. Senior Daris Cosby (Albany, N.Y.) registered 22 points – including number 1,000 for his career – as the Eagles remained perfect as part of their best start ever in improving to 7-0 (2-0 NECC).

Hanson became just the third player in Eagle program history to reach the 1,500-point milestone.

The crafty senior shot-maker from Salem is right on target to become No. 1, especially since he's a top-notch marksman from outside the three-point arc. "He's undoubtedly one of the best shooters we've had at Salem High and the same goes for the (North Shore) area," said Tom Doyle, Hanson's high school coach.

The loss, eerily similar to last season's three-point loss that went to the final seconds between the two clubs, sends the Eagles into Saturday's consolation matchup with Bard College at Noon.
