Davis shot 9-of-15 (60%) from long range and 50% from the floor (16-of-32) in posting averages of 22 points, seven rebounds, and four assists during a 2-0 non-conference road week for the Rams. Tuesday at Baruch, he scored game-high 19 points (5-of-10 3FG) to go with three assists and added a season-high 25 points two nights later at Union (N.Y.), shooting 10-of-17 from the field and 4-of-5 from deep in registering a double-double with 10 boards and five assists.
Trent Jakacki
Jakacki scored 27 points against CWRU on Monday and then 46 points in a victory over Hilbert on Friday, the most points for a Hiram student athlete since 1987. In the historic performance against the Hawks, Jakacki also chipped in five rebounds and five assists. He scored or assisted on 59 of the team's 91 points (64.8%) in the game.
Bryant Smith
Smith helped lead the Spartans to triple digits on Saturday during Manchester's 102-78 victory over Berea. He finished the game with 52 points, which ranks second in points scored in a single game in school history. Smith shot 11-18 from beyond the three-point arc and went a perfect 11-11 from the free throw line.
Luke Harris
Harris, the MIAC Defensive Player of the Week, averaged 26 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals in his two games this week. He started with a 22 point, seven rebound performance in a come-from-behind victory over University of Northwestern-St. Paul. Two days later Harris improved each of those figures, pouring in 29 points while collecting eight boards, to go along with six steals, and four assists at Bethany Lutheran College.
Matthew Solomon
Solomon put up an 18-point, 20-rebound double-double in Wednesday's win at Stockton. He was 9-for-16 from the field and notched the first 20-rebound game by a Lion in nearly a decade. Ten of his rebounds were on the offensive end. He shot 56% from the floor and added three assists.
