Women's

Angie Choi

Choi averaged 22 points (while shooting 56% from the floor and 12-for-12 at the charity stripe), two assists, two steals, and a 2.0 assist/turnover ratio. She had a 6-for-6 performance at the free throw line during the final 45 seconds of regulation to help the Engineers defeat No. 16 Tufts, 66-63, on the road. In the victory, MIT's first against a top-10 opponent, Choi paced the team with a career-high 25 points as she drained all 10 of her attempts at the charity stripe and grabbed three steals. She then produced a game-high 18 points to go along with four assists and no turnovers in 29 minutes of action in a 77-60 win over Brandeis on Saturday.

 

Damaris Rodriguez

Rodriguez averaged 27 points, five assists, three rebounds, and two steals over 38 minutes per game, including a victory over a Division II opponent.  She scored a game-best 24 points, with four assists and a steal in a tough road loss on Monday at No. 18 Amherst. In the 75-56 home NJAC win over William Paterson, Rodriguez finished with a game-high 27 points, seven assists, three rebounds, and two steals. Against TCNJ on Saturday, she led all players with 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting and in a 69-66 road victory over Division II Bridgeport, Rodriguez poured in a game-best 30 points to go with six rebounds, a game-high-tying three steals and a team-best four assists.

 

Hanna Rhoades

Rhoades led  the Knights to a 2-0 week and the best start in program history at 6-0. She set a new career-high with 31 points in win over Widener on Saturday, which broke the career-high of 29 set on Wednesday, where she set a new program record for threes in a game, hitting 9 of 11.

 

Ella Ten Pas

Ten Pas was virtually unstoppable for the Red Hawks last week in a pair of contests. Against undefeated UW-Stevens Point on Wednesday, she scored a game-high 23 points, adding 9 rebounds on 11 of 16 shooting. In Saturday's Midwest Conference opener against Illinois College, Ten Pas had her best performance at Ripon, tallying 26 points and 17 rebounds, both career-highs. She also chipped in three steals, two assists, and a block. Overall, Ten Pas shot 22 of 34 (65%) from the field last week averaging 25 points, 13 rebounds, two steals, a block, and an assist per game.

 

Carly Mulvaney

Mulvaney led Catholic to a victory over No. 25 Elizabethtown on the road with a career-high 27 points. She played all 45 minutes and shot a perfect 10-10 from the FT line while adding five rebounds and five steals. Mulvaney then chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds in a home victory over Wilkes on Saturday. 

 

Men's

Reed Kemp

Kemp veraged 27 points over three games on 53% shooting from the field, including a blistering 15-of-28 from downtown, helping Maryville to a 3-0 week by scoring 39 points in an 85-83 victory at Berry, adding 26 points in an 87-84 overtime win against Washington & Lee, and contributing 16 points in a 112-61 triumph at Warren Wilson.  Against Berry, Kemp was 16-of-24 from the field, including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc, and scored the game-winning basket with 4.1 seconds remaining.  39 is the highest Maryville single game point total since 2010.

 

Carter Meshanic

Meshanic averaged 24 points and seven rebounds, leading Hobart to a pair of Liberty League road wins last week. At Union, he scored a game and season-high 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting, shared game-high honors with eight rebounds, logged a game-high three steals, and dished out a pair of assists as the Statesmen won 81-66. At Vassar, Meshanic posted a game-high 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting and a perfect 6-for-6 day at the line. He also contributed five rebounds and two blocked shots in the 69-58 win over the Brewers.

 

Tyler Dearman

Dearman was instrumental in Guilford's 2-0 week, which included a win over then No. 2 Hamden-Sydney.  He averaged 27 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, along with two steals on 50% shooting from the floor.  He also hit 18 of 23 FTs.

 

Will Bartoszek

Bartoszek averaged 27 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and had just one turnover in 78 minutes of action over two games, both road wins. He had 20 points in the win at LeTourneau on Thursday. On Saturday, Bartoszek had 34 points and nine rebounds and helped the Cowboys rally from a 13-point deficit in the final three minutes of play to defeat East Texas Baptist 71-69 in a rematch of last season's ASC Championship game.  He capped that thriller on a three pointer with five seconds remaining that proved to be the game winner.

 

Christian Green

Green led the charge for the Tigers last week, averaging 22 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, and 2 steals per game, culminating in a perfect 3-0 record, including a pair of road SCAC wins to open up league play. Green recorded two double-doubles, 20 points and 15 rebounds against Mary Hardin-Baylor, and 24 points and 12 rebounds against Southwestern in his conference debut. He scored in double-figures in all three games, including three consecutive 20-plus point efforts ending the weekend with 22 points against Texas Lutheran.
