Ruffner finished with 10 of Smith's 19 fourth quarter points and shot 60% from the field as the Pioneers overcame a 12 points second half deficit.

Kasey Schipfer

Schipfer led Ohio Wesleyan with 26 points and 9 rebounds, was 11-for-15 from the field and 4-for-4 from the line as OWU defeated their second straight ranked opponent.

Selena Vargas

Vargas pulled down a double-double in Aurora's 83-75 win over Carthage. She scored 16 points on perfect 7-for-7 shooting from the field, brought in 15 rebounds and handed out four assists from her forward position. She also contributed four blocks and four assists to round out a giant stat line.

Aleah Grundahl

Grundahl led the Warhawks to a pair of big road wins including an 82-80 win at Illinois Wesleyan and a 64-55 victory at Calvin, to remain undefeated in 2023-24. She averaged 27 points and 11 rebounds to go along with three assists, two steals, and a block on 59% shooting.

Men's

Noah Hicks

Hicks had one phenomenal game during the short holiday week.  Caltech gave No. 8 NYU a tough contest in California and Hicks led the team with a career-high 29 points with four rebounds and three assists.  He shot 12-18 from the floor and 3-5 from three. In addition, he was the primary defender on D3hoops.com Preseason First Team All-American Spencer Freedman, who was held to 2 points and zero field goals.

Nate Amado

Amado posted one double-double and averaged 24 points on 53% shooting to go along with eight rebounds in a pair of wins for Babson. He poured in 26 points and grabbed 10 boards in Wednesday's 78-65 win over Brandeis and followed it up with 22 points and two assists in just 20 minutes on Sunday as the Beavers routed Bates, 77-53.

Justin Allen

Allen led the Tartans to a 2-0 week with a 95-88 win at Washington and Jefferson and a 71-61 win versus Denison. In the Tartans' win at W&J, Allen became just the third Tartan player since 2005 to score 40 points in a game. He did it on 13-of-21 (62%) shooting from the field while sinking 12-of-14 from the free throw line. He also grabbed four rebounds in the win. After the holiday break, Allen led the Tartans with 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds. For the week he shot 51% from the floor and 75% from the free throw line with seven boards a game.

Bennett Sherry

Sherry led Coe to a 2-0 mark on the week with 15 points, five boards, two assists, and one block in the Kohawks' conference-opening victory over Loras. His block came in the decisive moments of the contest, swatting away a potential go-ahead layup with under 30 seconds to play before hitting a clutch free throw to send his team ahead by two. Sherry was 7-9 from the floor, shooting 78% in the victory. He followed that up with a career-best and record-breaking performance against Edgewood, posting a career-best 22 points with three boards, two assists, two steals, and one block.
