The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 15th season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Men's

Marco Coppola
Coppola poured in 28 points in WPI's 86-55 victory Tuesday against Elms. The freshman drained 12 of 13 shots from the floor, including all four from three-point range. On Sunday, Coppola posted his first double-double when he tallied 14 points and a game-high 11 assists as WPI defeated Salem State 105-80 in a battle of undefeated teams.

Michael Cohen
Cohen led Pomona-Pitzer to a 2-0 week at the David Wells Classic, including 23 points in a narrow 79-76 over St. Olaf. Cohen shot 8-for-11 from the floor and 5-for-6 from three vs. St. Olaf. His three-pointer with 1:01 left in regulation tied the score after St. Olaf went on a 15-0 run to take a 74-71 lead. He shot 65 percent from the floor (13-for-20) and 70 percent (7-for-10) from three-point range on the week, averaging 17.5 points.

Kent Faurote
Faurote narrowly missed a double-double against Westminster (Mo.) with 17 points and nine rebounds. He followed that with a 17 point, five-rebound, four-block performance in the Eagles' 65-64 win at Viterbo. For the week, he averaged 17 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game.

Matt Devine
Devine scored a career-high 31 points off 11-of-16 shooting (68.8 percent) from the floor and added a career-high 15 rebounds in a 95-88 loss at Mount Saint Mary. Devine has notched a double-double in each of New Paltz's three games this year, and he is averaging 23.7 points per game and 12.7 rebounds per game.

Jason Norsen
Norsen led Fisher to an 82-81 overtime victory against Brockport, scoring a career- and game-high 31 points. He went 7-for-7 at the free throw line and 12-for-14 from the field, while pulling in a game high 12 rebounds and finishing with a game-high six blocks, playing all 45 minutes.

Women's

Portia Velasco
Velasco helped lead the Cardinals to a 2-0 week at the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa Invitational. She scored a career-high 21 points in Friday's 76-67 win over Pitt-Bradford, with seven assists and four steals. She led the team with 14 points the following day in a 61-45 victory against Union, adding five assists and four steals. In a 20-7 run that put Union away for good, Velasco contributed on 11 points, scoring seven and assisting on four.

Caty Eeten
Eeten had another big game in making the Team of the Week for a second week in a row, scoring 35 points with 11 rebounds and five assists in Eureka's 80-57 win at Concordia Chicago. She went 11-for-18 from the floor and 12-for-14 from the line.

Sarah Smith
Smith helped the Tommies to a 2-0 weekend trip to Texas as she made 16 of 21 from the floor, five of six from the line in averaging 19 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and a block with only two turnovers for the weeend. In a 76-63 comeback win against Southwestern, Smith had a career-high 23 points plus 11 rebounds and shot 9-of-10 from floor. In an 80-63 win at Trinity, she had 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Katie Aldrich
Aldrich led DePauw in points in two wins against preseason Top 25 teams, scoring 22 with nine rebounds in a 67-54 win against Illinois Wesleyan and added 19 points, seven boards in a 69-57 win at Washington U.

Tiffany Thompson
Thompson scored 12 of her team-high 18 points in the second half to help erase Brooklyn's 17-point deficit en route to a 72-71 come-from-behind win over SUNY-Old Westbury. Thompson added 10 rebounds to finish with a double-double.
