The Anchorwomen are now 4-0 to start the 2017-18 campaign, the best start to a season since the 2009-10 squad that opened the year with a 6-0 mark.
Wenham, Mass.--Sophomore guard Jordyn Gauvin (Fall River, MA) narrowly missed a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds to propel the Rhode Island College women's basketball team to a 47-41 win over Manhattanville in the second round of the Gordon Invitational played at the Bennett Center on Saturday afternoon. The win extends the Anchorwomen's record to 3-0 for the season, marking the first time the team has won their first three contests since the 2009-10 campaign.
