80 minutes. 2 games. That's now all that leaves 8 programs from being crowned national champions - and there will be new champions in both men's and women's basketball.

For the first time in seven years, two programs from the same school are in the final fours. For the first time since 2009, no teams on the women's side return to the semifinals. The men feature a rematch of a 2019 semifinal battle. For the second year in a row, a single-sex institution has a program in the final four. There are four first-time programs playing in the semifinals. One program isn't receiving a single vote in the Top 25 while another is unranked but receiving votes. And only one of two undefeated teams can go undefeated for the season.

All interesting facts and tidbits among the all the programs that will be featured on Thursday's Hoopsville. Watch On Demand or listen to the podcast as we chat with all eight programs who have earned their way to their respective semifinals.

The Hoopsville fundraising campaign also hit our goal to raise $10,000 - a mark set by Christopher Newport men's coach John Krikorian. However, even though we have achieved the mark it doesn't mean we stop our efforts to improve our work. Donating to the show will help it grow into our third decade covering DIII basketball.

To donate, we have several options to the right (through Venmo or GiveButter). If you want to donate in another way, please contact us and we can provide other options (i.e. check, Zelle, etc.).
