    Senior Heather Converse scored a team-high 19 points on 6-for-12 shooting and a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's basketball team topped the St. Lawrence Saints in overtime by a 76-71 final score from ECAV Arena Tuesday evening in the first round of the Liberty League Tournament.

    TROY, N.Y. - Senior Amanda Lynch had team-highs of 15 points, including the 1000th of her career, and 11 rebounds to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's basketball team to a 50-36 victory over Bard College in the regular season finale for both teams. Rensselaer finishes with a 14-11 overall record and a 10-6 league mark. The Raptors drop to 4-21 and 0-16.

    POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Vassar College women's basketball team led for nearly 34 minutes and the Brewers knocked off Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 69-51, in the final contest of the 2014-15 campaign for the Brewers. With the loss, the Engineers (13-11; 9-6 Liberty League) fall out of the Liberty League playoff picture with one game to play. RPI must defeat Bard College on Sunday at home (2pm) and have either Union College or Clarkson University lose on Sunday afternoon.

The Golden Knights improve to 10-4 in the league and move into second place, while the Engineers drop into a tie for fourth place with a 9-5 mark with two games remaining. The top four teams in the league qualify for the playoffs.

Skidmore takes sole possession the top spot with a 4-0 conference mark (8-5 overall), while RPI falls to second place at 3-1. The Engineers are 7-6 overall.

    TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women’s basketball team got 20 points and 10 rebounds from junior Sarah Wetmore and the Engineers defeated Keene State, 66-50, in the season opener for both teams. Wetmore (Sudbury, MA / Lincoln Sudbury Regional), a guard who missed last season due to an injury, had six offensive rebounds and added an assist in her 36 minutes of action.
