THREE IN A ROW! No. 23 Ithaca Claims Liberty League Title in Emphatic Win Over St. LawrenceFebruary 27, 2022ITHACA, N.Y. – Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament, Grace Cannon and senior Cara Volpe combined for 41 points to guide the Ithaca College women's basketball team to a hard-fought win over St. Lawrence for their third consecutive Liberty League title. A 42-25 second half rally by the Bombers, spearheaded by several clutch plays by Emily Dorn secured the 70-58 victory. With the win, Ithaca improved to 24-3 overall and IC will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament – the selection show will be held on their website at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow.

Ithaca Holds on to Beat RIT, 65-62, in NCAA First RoundMarch 03, 2017ITHACA, N.Y. – In front of a capacity crowd inside Ben Light Gymnasium on Friday evening, the Ithaca College women’s basketball team defeated visiting Rochester Institute of Technology in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship. Ithaca has now won 14 straight games and improves to 25-3 on the season heading into tomorrow’s matchup with SUNY New Paltz.

With the win, Ithaca is now 24-3 on the season and extends its winning streak to 13 consecutive contests.

Ithaca Advances in E8 Tournament with 63-55 Win over HartwickFebruary 24, 2017HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Ithaca College women's basketball team will play for an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championships tomorrow afternoon after a 63-55 victory over Hartwick College in the Empire 8 Conference semifinals on Friday evening inside Canavan Arena in Hoboken, N.J. Ithaca, now 23-3 on the season and making its 10th straight trip to the Empire 8 final, will take on host and top-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology (16-9) at 4 p.m. The Bombers have now won 12 consecutive games.

Ithaca Women’s Basketball Secures 60-49 Win over Hartwick on Senior DayFebruary 11, 2017ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's basketball team came away with a 60-49 Empire 8 Conference victory on Saturday afternoon over Hartwick College inside Ben Light Gymnasium on Senior Day. Ithaca improves to 20-3 on the season and 12-2 in the Empire 8 behind a career performance from junior Jordan Beers, who scored a career-high 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting, including 14 points in the fourth quarter.

Ithaca Women’s Basketball Cruises to 98-54 Win at ElmiraJanuary 21, 2017ELMIRA, N.Y. – Junior Jordan Beers put together a near perfect shooting performance on Saturday afternoon to help the Ithaca College women’s basketball team defeat Elmira College on the road, 98-54. Beers led all scorers in the game with 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor, 4-for-4 from 3-point range and 3-for-3 at the free throw line. With the victory, Ithaca improves to 13-3 on the season and 5-2 in the Empire 8 Conference.

Ithaca Women’s Basketball Upends New Paltz, 78-50January 10, 2017ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's basketball team led by as many as 42 points on Tuesday evening and cruised to a 78-50 victory over New Paltz inside Ben Light Gymnasium to improve to 9-2 on the season. Ithaca forced New Paltz to turn the ball over 30 times, which translated for 31 points in the game. New Paltz is now 5-7 on the year.
