BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Ithaca College women's basketball team outscored Mount St. Vincent by 12 points in the closing portion of the game and earned an 82-72 win in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament at Morrell Gymnasium at Bowdoin College. Ithaca has advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive season. The Bombers will face the winner of the game between Babson and Bowdoin. Saturday's second-round game will begin at 7 p.m.

Ithaca held a 50-27 advantage in rebounds, including 24 offensive rebounds that led to 22 second-chance points for the Bombers.
