    Hampden-Sydney needed a new men's basketball coach and went with someone slightly less on the inside, as the Tigers will now be coached by Guilford alumnus Caleb Kimbrough. He was most recently men's basketball coach at Huntingdon.

    The Huntingdon College men's basketball team beat Methodist University, 88-80, in the first game of the Birmingham-Southern Christmas Classic on Friday evening. The Hawks lead 39-37 at the half, and shot an impressive 84 percent (26-of-31) from the free throw line in the win.

    The Huntingdon College men's basketball team fell 74-63 against Berry College on Tuesday night in Georgia. The Hawks trailed by one-point, 26-25, at the half, but the Vikings jumped up by 18 points with 6:20 left in the game to secure the victory.

    The Huntingdon College men’s basketball team picked up its first victory of the season with a 54-52 win over the University of Texas at Tyler on Friday. Senior James Daniels scored the game-winning goal off of a rebound from Ephriam Hudson's three-point attempt in the last second of the game at the LaGrange Classic for the Hawks.
