March 4, 2023 Huntingdon making coaching change It turned out Caleb Kimbrough was a hard act to follow at Huntingdon, as David Gurganus has resigned as the Hawks' head coach.
April 4, 2019 Kimbrough returns to the ODAC Hampden-Sydney needed a new men's basketball coach and went with someone slightly less on the inside, as the Tigers will now be coached by Guilford alumnus Caleb Kimbrough. He was most recently men's basketball coach at Huntingdon.
January 2, 2017 Huntingdon coach steps down Before this season started Mike Pugh announced that this season would be his last. After the Hawks started the season 0-10, he decided to step down immediately. Former Guilford player and assistant Caleb Kimbrough takes over immediately.
May 10, 2012 Huntingdon, Covenant to join USA South One year later, Huntingdon finally gets the call to join its former GSAC rivals in the USA South, while Covenant moves as well to give the league an even more southern bent.
December 18, 2010 Hawks Fall, 92-85, to Host Birmingham-Southern in Christmas Classic The Huntingdon College men's basketball team dropped its' six game of the season, 92-85, to host Birmingham-Southern College in the Birmingham-Southern Christmas Classic on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks trailed 44-33 at the half, and struggled stopping the Panthers' offense in the loss.
December 17, 2010 Hudson's 28-point Performance Helps Hawks Open BSC Christmas Classic with a, 88-80, Win Over Methodist The Huntingdon College men's basketball team beat Methodist University, 88-80, in the first game of the Birmingham-Southern Christmas Classic on Friday evening. The Hawks lead 39-37 at the half, and shot an impressive 84 percent (26-of-31) from the free throw line in the win.
