February 18, 2023 Heidelberg knocks off Marietta 92-80 MARIETTA, Ohio — The Marietta College men’s basketball team closed out the regular season with a 92-80 loss to Heidelberg University Saturday (Feb. 18) afternoon in Ban Johnson Arena. The loss drops Marietta to 15-10 overall and 10-8 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Heidelberg heads into the conference tournament with an 18-7 overall record and 13-5 in conference games.

The Purple Raiders improve to 20-2 overall and 13-2 in the OAC. Marietta falls to 13-9 on the season and 8-7 in league play.
