Framingham State is headed to its first NCAA Tournament after winning the MASCAC on Saturday afternoon. |
In Division III basketball, "March Madness" starts in late February. There are 43 automatic qualifying bids (AQs) into the 64-team NCAA Division III women's basketball tournament and 42 of those AQs are awarded to conference tournament winners. The UAA is the lone conference that awards its AQ to its regular season champion, which is the University of Chicago.
Conference playoffs start with first-round games as early as Wednesday, Feb. 19 and run through the last championship games on Sunday, March 1. You can get the lowdown on all the tournaments here, including links to live stats, game broadcasts, boxscores and recaps as they are posted by participating schools.
