The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 21st season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Women's

Micah Weaver

Weaver led the Tigers to a pair of home wins over the weekend. She tied Trinity's single game record with 42 points on 15-20 shooting in the SCAC showdown with Austin College, adding 3-6 from three-point range and 9-12 from the foul line. She also pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out six assists in the game, leading the Tigers in all three categories. The 42 points scored is tied for the fourth-most in SCAC history, and she becomes just the seventh player in conference history to score 40 or more in a game.

Kaitlyn Read
Read averaged 29 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.0 steals, 4.0 assists, and 0.5 blocks. In Friday's 69-64 loss to Emory, she scored 21 points (including 8-8 from the foul line) with four rebounds, six assists, four steals, and a block. Then, in an 83-79 overtime loss to No. 7 Rochester on Sunday, Read scored a career-high 37 points (23 after halftime) and recorded a career-high 10 steals, while adding five rebounds and two assists. Overall, she shot 48.7% (19-39) from the field, 50% (6-12) from three-point range and 73.6% (14-19) from the foul line.

Bryce Frank
Frank had a massive weekend for Austin College as the 'Roos topped Schreiner before coming up short at Trinity. Frank averaged 28.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists while shooting 52.3% from the field and 83.3% from the free throw line, including scoring a career-high 32 points while grabbing 15 rebounds against Trinity.

Allie Young
Young had a huge game to start the weekend with career-highs in 32 points and six blocks against Sewanee while rounding out with a double-double with 11 rebounds. She netted 15 of those points in the fourth quarter alone and went 11-of-13 in the field in the second half for 23 points. Against Centre, Young scored 12 of her 18 points in the second half, narrowly missing another double-double with nine rebounds. Overall, she averaged 35.5 minutes, 25 points and 10 rebounds with only one turnover. Young shot 75% accuracy at Sewanee and averaged 62.9% in the field on the weekend as Rhodes went 2-0. During both games, the Lynx scored 31 points in the fourth quarter to secure the victories. Rhodes is now 12-5 overall and 5-2 in SAA play.

Hannah Spaulding
Spaulding came up big again leading two double-digit road wins over MIAC title contenders Bethel and St. Ben's. She averaged 23.5 points, 10 rebounds and 3.5 blocks and made 21-of-28 from the field and 7-of-8 from the foul line in the 2-0 week. She had 26 points and 12 boards to help end Bethel's eight-game win streak and had 23 points, eight boards and seven blocks to help give 15-2 St. Ben's its first conference defeat. Spaulding leads all NCAA women's players (at all three levels) in FG proficiency at 71.1 percent, and tops the MIAC in scoring at 20.1 ppg.

Men's

Shea Feehan
Feehan averaged 45.5 points and shot 64 percent (29-for-45) from the field in two league road games last week. He also averaged 6.0 rebounds, shot 45 percent from 3-point range (9-for-20) and 80 percent (24-for-30) at the foul line. Feehan put up 44 points in EC's 84-78 win at Fontbonne on Wednesday, his third 40-point game of the season. He followed the effort with 47 points Saturday Greenville, two points shy of his own single-game Eureka scoring record and four points shy of the single-game SLIAC scoring mark.

Josh Ruggles
Ruggles averaged 32 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists this week, shooting 65% from the floor with just two turnovers on the week. After Saturday, Ruggles has made 56 consecutive free-throws. 

Justice Mercadel
Mercadel had a huge weekend for Austin College, averaging 25.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 4.5 steals-per-game while shooting 59% from the field and 60% from long distance. The freshman guard had a career game in a narrow loss to Trinity, scoring 31 points with 15 rebounds - both career-highs.

Cooper Cook
Cook averaged 22.7 points in 3 IIAC victories for the Prairie Wolves as they now sit in a tie for the league lead. He made 13-22 from 3-point range for the week and shot 54.3 percent overall, leading team with 25 points in road win at Coe College, 24 points and nine rebounds in road win at Dubuque and, in a 39-point blowout win over Wartburg, scored 19 points, making five 3-pointers, and blocked five shots.

Patrick MacDonald
MacDonald helped Maritime to a 2-0 week as he averaged 16.5 points per game and pulled down 19.0 rebounds per game in wins over St. Joseph's (Bklyn) and Old Westbury. MacDonald had a season-high 21 rebounds in Tuesday's win, which was the second-most rebounds in a single game in Maritime program history. Also on Monday he connected on the game-tying layup with 1.2 seconds remaining, and converted on the ensuing and-one free throw to give Maritime the one-point win. On the week he shot 83.3% as he went 8-for-9 on Tuesday and 7-for-9 on Saturday. He also added three blocks and one steal on the week.
