    MONTGOMERY, Ala. ---- The Huntingdon College women’s basketball team fell 57-29 against Franklin College on Wednesday morning in the opening game of the Huntingdon Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. The Lady Hawks trailed 24-19 at the half, but struggled scoring in the second half of the game.

    The Huntingdon College women’s basketball team fell 80-40 against cross-town rival, Faulkner University, on Thursday evening. The Lady Hawks were outscored 44-19 in the first half, and the Lady Eagles rolled in the victory by 40 points in the second period.

    The Huntingdon College women’s basketball team picked up its third win of the season, 54-48, against Covenant College on Saturday afternoon in Georgia. The Lady Hawks overcame a 13 point deficit in the second half, with a 17-0 run late in the contest.

    The Huntingdon College women’s basketball team beat Salem College in its Great South Athletic Conference opener on Saturday evening in Roland Arena. Huntingdon trailed 29-26 at the break, but responded by outscoring the Spirits 41-35.

    The Huntingdon College women’s basketball team won its first game of the season, 51-37, against Pensacola Christian College on Tuesday evening. The Lady Hawks came back after trailing 19-12 at the half and won by 14 points.
