In Division III basketball, "March Madness" starts in late February. There were 43 automatic qualifying bids into the 64-team NCAA Division III women's basketball tournament and 42 of those AQs were awarded to conference tournament winners. The remaining 21 bids were at-large selections with one of them reserved for teams that were not in a conference with an automatic qualifying bid (Pool B). That bid went to UC Santa Cruz (14-10).
Conference playoffs started with first round games as early as Thursday, Feb. 16, and ran through the last championship games on Sunday, Feb. 26. You can get the lowdown on all the tournaments here, including links to boxscores and recaps as they are posted by participating schools.
