Williams head coach Pat Manning picked up her 500th career win and the Ephs solidified their NESCAC tournament chances by routing Colby on Friday night, 58-34.

Williams held Colby to one field goal and eight turnovers and opened up a 16-3 lead at the end of one period. The Mules whittled the lead to single digits late in the third quarter before Morgan Dauk scored back-to-back baskets to key a 11-0 Williams run that put the game out of reach. Dauk scored 17 points in 16 minutes and Mikaela Topper added 13 points for the Ephs (10-11, 4-3 NESCAC).
Manning has a career record of 500-236 in 29 seasons as the Ephs' head coach. She has led Williams to the NCAA Tournament nine times with the Ephs' deepest run coming in 2012-13 when they finished third in the country. That year Williams went 27-6 and defeated arch rival Amherst in the consolation game of the national championship weekend. Manning was named the 2013 Northeast Region Coach of the Year.
Williams' win capped an eventful night in NESCAC women's play. No. 1 Bowdoin overcame a double-digit deficit to start the fourth quarter and rallied past Middlebury 62-58. No. 5 Amherst held No. 4 Tufts to 12 field goals and 12 turnovers in a 50-40 Mammoths' victory and Trinity (Conn.) topped rival Wesleyan 80-76.
