Women's

Mattox played just one game this week, but she posted a triple-double with 48 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, shooting 65% from the floor in a 91-89 OT win Dec. 5 at Bridgewater. Her 48 points is a new school record for single game scoring. 

Jessica Lam

Jessica Lam averaged 25.7 points in three games during the week. She scored a program record 36 points in an overtime loss to Ferrum and then added 22 points in a victory over Hood. She shot 55.3 percent in the three games and averaged five rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.0 steals per game.

Frannie Merkel

Merkel averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds per game in addition to shooting 85.7 percent (18-of-21) from the field in two games for the Cardinals, including a career-high 28 points and 14 rebounds in an 80-78 loss to The College at Brockport on Saturday.

Lisa Murphy

Murphy continues to lead the nation in shooting percentage (.830) after making 17-of-21 (81.0%) from the floor in two victories for the #13 Carnegie Mellon University women's basketball team last week. She averaged 21.0 points and 15.0 rebounds in wins against Washington & Jefferson and Bethany.

Kelsey Tietje

Tietje has scored a double-double in every game this season, grabbing 23 rebounds against Hanover to give her over 1,000 career boards, she also scored 20 points in the game, marking the third 20-point, 20-rebound effort in her career.

Men's

Marcus Myers

Myers scored 20.5 points while grabbing 8.5 rebounds in Aurora's two victories on the week. He had 20 and 11 against CUW and shot 57.1 percent from the field on the week.

Zach Smith

Smith led Hamline to two MIAC conference wins, including the first at St. Thomas since 1979-80. He averaged 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists on the week, shooting 59% from the floor.

Wade McNamara

 In two wins in the week, McNamara averaged 29 points and 19 rebounds, along with 5 assists. In the win over Utica, his 37 points and 21 rebounds were career highs and the most for each by any player in the Liberty League this year.

Romario Fletcher

Fletcher averaged 18.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 2.0 steals and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 52 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range. The senior scored the game-winning bucket vs Utica College. Fletcher posted 17 points, and game-highs of 16 rebounds and three blocks shooting 7-for-14 from the field. 

TJ Duckett

Duckett was named the Most Valuable Player of the Doc Greene Tournament, averaging 21.5 points and 9.0 rebounds over two wins.  He shot 74.1% from the field during the weekend, connecting on 20-of-27 shots, including wins over Lynchburg and Juniata.
