The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 20th season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Women's

Jill Valley

Valley scored a Westfield State record 52 points in a 102-82 win over Worcester State. She shot 19-27 from the floor, 2-5 from downtown, and 12-14 at the line.  She scored 21 points in the fourth quarter, making all eight of her field goal tries and was 3-3 from the line in the fourth, as the Owls broke open what was a five-point lead with 6 minutes left in regulation.  She also grabbed eight steals and six rebounds, and dished out three assists. For the week, Valley averaged 32 points, seven steals, and six rebounds per game.

Chloe Roach

Roach put a stamp on the end of the regular season, averaging 26.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.0 steals against two of the top teams in the ODAC. Roach poured in a career high 30 points in Saturday's game at first-place Lynchburg, shooting 63.6% from the floor. She also dished out a career best 9 assists. In a 74-67 win at Randolph-Macon, Roach scored 23 points, including 17 in the decisive second half, adding 9 rebounds and 4 steals. For the week, the guard shot 24-for-43 from the floor.

Sandi Purcell

Purcell was unstoppable this past week as the Owls secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming LEC tournament.  She broke her career high twice, first with 27 points on 9-for-16 shooting as the Owls drubbed league leading Eastern Connecticut State, then became the first KSC player in four years with more than 30 points in a game, making 11 of 19 shots from the floor and 8 of 14 three pointers in a win over Rhode Island College.

Hayley Martin

Martin led No. 22 Trine to its first MIAA title, beating No. 8 Hope 70-53 on its home floor. She scored 22 points (8 in 4th quarter, 13 total in second half) with five blocks in that contest, setting the school record for blocks in one season. She averaged 20 points, seven rebounds, and 5 blocks on the week. 

Makenzie Miller

Miller averaged 25.5 points, 15.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in helping lead UWL to two victories last week. She finished with 26 points, five rebounds and two blocks in UWL's 72-50 win at UW-Stout, going 10-of-19 from the field and six-of-six at the free throw line. Miller finished with 25 points and school record 26 rebounds in the Eagles' 57-51 victory over UW-Stevens Point, going 11-of-19 from the field and three-of-six at the line; she also had four assists.

Men's

Edvinas Rupkus

Rupkus set a program record with 42 points in a road win over St. Lawrence, helping secure the #1 seed in the LL tournament. He scored 26 of his 30 points in the second half in a come-from-behind win over Clarkson, becoming the first sophomore in school history to reach the 1000-point career mark. Shooting percentages were off the charts. FG 23-30 (76.7), 3PT 6-8 (75.0), FT 20-22 (90.9).  

Raheem Anderson

Anderson averaged 39.5 points, four rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals, while shooting 52.2% (24-of-46) from the floor and 84.6% (22-of-26) from the charity stripe in a 2-0 week. In a 100-96 overtime victory against Thomas he netted 50 points on 51.6% (16-of-31) shooting from the field, to go along with five rebounds, five steals, and three assists, including the last 13 points to send the game into overtime. Then in a win over UMaine-Farmington, Anderson tallied 29 points, four assists and three steals.

Nathaniel Jack

Jack averaged 18.5 points and 17 rebounds as the Cowboys won a pair of games at home to claim their first ever outright ASC West title. He had 26 points and 15 rebounds in the clincher against Mary Hardin-Baylor.

John Vitkus

Vitkus capped the regular season with two more dominant performances as the Royals secured the top seed in the Landmark Conference playoffs. He began the week by matching his career high with 24 points while pulling down 10 rebounds in a 75-66 victory over 15th-ranked Susquehanna on Wednesday night. He went 9-for-15 from the field and 6-for-10 from the line, and added two assists, a block and a steal. Three days later, he had 21 points and 11 rebounds in an 85-70 win over Goucher on Senior Day in the Long Center. He finished that game 6-for-9 from the field and 9-for-13 from the line, and added a block, a steal and an assist.

Patrick MacDonald

MacDonald became the first player in program history to record 20 points and 20 rebounds in the same game with 28 points and 23 rebounds vs. Sarah Lawrence on Tuesday. He followed his 20-20 performance with a season-high 29 points against Mount St. Vincent on Friday, before adding 27 points against North Division-leading Sage on Saturday afternoon.
