Cierra Jordan scored a career-high 21 points in a win over Colorado College and then backed that performance up with a 19-point game in a road win over University of Dallas. Jordan averaged 20 points and shot 57.7 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from the three-point line. She also averaged eight rebounds, four steals, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 assists per game. She had six steals in the road win at Dallas, and she had 10 rebounds (part of a double-double) in the road win at Colorado College.

Hillary Hellmann

Hellmann scored a career-high 35 points to lead the Spartans to an 87-78 upset over No. 10 Carnegie Mellon in the team's University Athletic Association opener on Saturday.  Hellmann connected on 12-of-21 shots from the field (57.1%) including six-of-nine from long range (66.6%), while adding six rebounds and matching her career-high with four steals.  Playing 29 total minutes on Saturday, she scored 31 of her 35 points during the second half of the game (including 20 alone in the third quarter), shooting 10-of-15 overall and six-of-seven on three-point attempts during the final 20 minutes of the game.  Her 35 points were just three shy of the school's single-game record, and surpassed her previous career-high of 31, set against John Carroll University earlier in the year.

Katie Sire

Sire helped keep No. 9 Montclair State unbeaten in a 2-0 week. The junior posted career-bests with 29 points and six three-pointers in a 66-49 win over Cortland. Sire paced the Red Hawks with 17 points in the first half on 6-of-6 shooting, including 5-of-5 from behind the arc. She also added six rebounds, three assists and five steals in the victory. Two nights later, Sire topped 20 points for the third time this season finishing with 22 along with nine rebounds, assist, block and steal in a 77-63 win against New Jersey City. Sire scored 12 points in the second half as Montclair turned a two-point halftime lead into a 15-points advantage after three quarters.

Alexandra Leslie

Leslie scored 15 points in the fourth quarter against Emory on Saturday to stave off Emory's upset bid and carry Rochester to victory in its UAA opener. The 31 points are two points shy of her career high of 33 (set opening night vs. William Smith).

Andrea Iavarone

Iavarone averaged 25.3 points and 10.7 rebounds in three games last week. In Wednesday's 86-63 win over Skyline Conference rival Purchase, the forward scored a career-best 39 points breaking the program's single-game points record on a program-best 19-24 shooting from the floor. Iavarone also collected 13 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season. She would continue her scoring streak in Saturday's loss to Sage, shooting 75% from the field and finished with a game-high 22 points.

Men's

Rich Ross

Over two games last week, Ross averaged 35 points per game. Saturday's win at Morrisville was punctuated by a game-winning 3-pointer from Ross on the final shot of the game to give Wells a 72-71 victory. It capped a 37-point performance for Ross, a career-best single-game scoring total. He was 13-for-13 from the free-throw line and made four 3-pointers.

Jeff Martin

Jeff Martin averaged 25.5 points in two victories including a career-high 30 points in a 121-106 win over Concordia (Texas). The senior point guard shot 56 percent (18-32) from the floor and swiped six steals to go along with 13 rebounds. Martin dished out 17 assists in the two games and is currently ranked sixth in the nation and second in the conference with 90 total assists.

Josh Berard averaged 36.5 points and went 28-of-47 from the field (.595) over two games last week. Berard led Ozarks in scoring in both contests with 33 against Hardin-Simmons and recorded his second 40-point performance of the season with a game-high 40 points against McMurry. Grow averaged 24.5 points and 20.0 rebounds along with 1.5 blocks and 1.5 assists in the Knights two OT losses to first-place Bethel and second-place St. Thomas. Grow had 30 points and 15 boards vs. Bethel, the highest point total in a MIAC game this season. Grow followed that up with a 19-point, 25-rebound performance against defending national champion St. Thomas. The 25 rebounds are the most in recorded team history and the most by a MIAC player in at least 15 seasons.
