Men's
Tyler Nicolai
Nicolai knocked down two last-second shots in a four-day span to help the No. 4 Tommies top two second-place teams and remain atop the MIAC standings. His 23-foot shot as time expired topped Carleton, 62-59, last Wednesday night and capped a 16-point performance. Nicolai's 23-footer under extensive defensive pressure tied Gustavus with :03.4 seconds left in regulation and forced overtime on Saturday. UST prevailed 68-64, thnks in large part to his 16 points. In a 3-0 week, Nicolai averaged 14.3 points and made nine 3-point baskets. He also had 13 assists, 11 steals and only two turnovers.

Ihsaan Davis
Davis his a career-high seven 3-pointers to score a career-high 27 points to lift Lycoming to a 92-76 win over MAC Freedom leader Delaware Valley in the championship of the Basinger Memorial Tournament. He scored 10 points in final 2:15 to lead the Warriors to brink of a stellar comeback win over Widener before falling, 75-74 and added 11 points in 88-60 win over Penn State-DuBois. Davis shot 12-for-19 from three-point range in averaging 17 points.

Andrei Oztemel
Oztemel was one of two players to average 20.3 points per game this week to lead Ithaca, highlighted by an all-tournament team selection after the Bombers' victory at No. 13 Franklin and Marshall earning the crown of the Sponaugle New Year's Tournament. He drained a team-best 18 three pointers on 18-for-27 shooting (66.7 percent) and added 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block. He was a perfect 5-for-5 from the charity stripe.

Chad Burridge
Burridge averaged 20.0 points in two games this week as the Lakers went 1-1. He scored a game-high 19 points vs. St. Lawrence and a game-high 21 against Cortland. In the win against the Red Dragons, Burridge became the 15th player in Oswego State men's basketball history to score 1,000 career points. Burridge also tallied 11 rebounds and three blocks vs. Cortland to help the Lakers remain the only unbeaten team in SUNYAC play.

Carl Hipp
Hipp averaged 21.7 points and 12.3 rebounds while blocking five shots as the Pipers swept three road games on the week. In a 94-89 overtime win at Gustavus Adolphus, Hipp tallied 29 points and 15 rebounds, including 11 on the defensive end. On Wednesday he played just 22 minutes but scored 18 points and added 15 rebounds. He then tallied 18 points while only playing 19 minutes at Macalester on Saturday, snagging seven rebounds.

Women's
Rachel Backes
Backes averaged 14 points and 6.3 assists in leading the Blue Jays to three conference wins last week. She added 3.0 steals per game, while shooting 55 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three-point range.

Ali Johnson
Johnson broke a 22-year-old school record Saturday in a 66-61 comeback win against Gustavus Adolphus as she sank six 3-point baskets in eight attempts. She made 13-of-21 3-pointers on the week to lead the Tommies to three wins. Johnson has 100 treys on her career, and she scored 10 points in a game-closing 20-11 comeback run against Gustavus. Johnson shot 59 percent from the floor and was 6-for-6 from the foul line.

Jessica Mullen
Mullen scored 77 points on the week, including a 30-point effort at Roanoke to lead the Bridgewater offense. Mullen averaged 25.7 points, including a perfect 26-of-26 effort from the charity stripe. Mullen shot 23-of-48 (47.9%) from the field, including a 5-of-12 performance from beyond the arc.

Jessica Berry
Berry netted a game-high 22 points en route to breaking the program's all-time scoring record as Utica downed visiting St. John Fisher 77-66 on Friday night. The reigning conference player of the year now has 1,810 career points and is 77 rebounds short of 1,000. She averaged 23.5 points and 10.5 rebounds on the week, shooting 20-for-34 from the floor and 6-for-7 from the line.

Lindsay Newcombe
Newcombe averaged 17 points, 18.5 rebounds and 4.5 blocks as the Cowgirls split a pair of games against nationally ranked Louisiana College and Mississippi College. In the loss to LC, she had a season-best 28 points and a career-best 25 rebounds.
