Women's
Amanda Billy
Billy was named to CUA/Fairfield Inn Holiday Tournament
All-Tournament Team, averaging 28 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals
and 1.5 blocks per game. Her 42 points led the Saints to a victory
in the consolation game, including 11 three-pointers.
Lindsey Brenneman
Brenneman helped lead Wheaton to the tournament title at the Taylor
University Holiday Tournament, where she was an all-tournament
pick. She led the Thunder to a 72-60 victory against Taylor in the
title game on Friday with 27 points. Brenneman shot 12-for-24 from
the field and 10-for-11 from the line on the week.
Kaitlyn Ober
Ober averaged 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds to earn Hoops for
Hounds All-Classic honors. She shot 50 percent (13-of-26) from the
field and added four assists, a block and a steal. Ober led
Warriors to win against Ramapo with 21 points and 13 rebounds, 10
points in game's first four minutes, with six coming off fastbreak
layups, and added the last four points for Lycoming to seal the win
in the game's final three minutes.
Jordan Confessore
Confessore averaged 11.7 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3
steals while coming off the bench in all three games for the
Bombers. She recorded her two highest scoring performances of the
season against then-No. 5 Thomas More and Division I Cornell
(N.Y.).
Danielle Duncan
Duncan had 28 points and 10 boards in a win against Mary Baldwin as
Greensboro improved to 9-0 on the year.
Men's
Joe Meehan
Meehan averaged 23.5 ppg, 8.0 apg, and 5.0 rpg as he led Lebanon
Valley to wins over Babson and Denison at the Land of Magic
Classic. Against Babson, Meehan had a career-high 10 assists and
also scored 14 points, including the game-winning free throws; vs.
Denison, he exploded for a career-high 33 points to go with six
assists. For the week he shot 20-for-24 at the line.
Justin Gallo
Gallo helped led the Dutchmen to two wins at the Land of Magic
Classic in Daytona Beach. He scored 26 points with eight rebounds
and made all six free throws in a win against St. Scholastica.
Gallo scored 25 points with six rebounds and four assists, making
11 of 18 shots, in a win against Berry.
Derek Anderson
Anderson matched a program record and set a Land of Magic Classic
record with 10, 3-pointers vs. Union on Wednesday. He finished with
34 points, the most in a game by a Saints players since 2007. The
next day, Anderson drained eight 3-pointers, including five in the
first half, to finish with a game-high 26 points vs. Buena
Vista.
Jonathan Jones
Jones led the Cougars in both games at Wittenberg's tournament (vs.
Wittenberg and Heidelberg) in points and rebounds while also
improving his streak to 13 straight double-doubles this season.
Jones had 23 points, 10 rebounds and two steals vs. Wittenberg to
go along with 23 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and four steals
vs. Heidelberg. He shot 21-for-31 from the floor.
Amadou Fofana
Fofana averaged 17.3 points, six rebounds and two blocked shots in
three games for the Blugolds, shooting 61 percent from the
floor.
