The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 14th season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Men's
Wes Smith
Smith guided Wabash to three wins, giving the Little Giants a 6-0 start to the season for the first time since 1922-23. Smith averaged 30.5 points and eight rebounds in two tournament wins, including 27 points against then-No. 2 Randolph-Macon. Smith averaged 27 points for the week after leading Wabash with 20 points in a win at Hanover. He also dished out five assists, made three blocks, and recorded four steals in the three games. Smith shot 61.5 percent from the field for the week.

John Mantas
Mantas had 27 points, six rebounds and three assists in 59 minutes of action in Skidmore's septuple-overtime win at Southern Vermont, shooting 7-for-9 from the line.

Brian Ellis
Ellis hit 12 of 16 shots from the floor, including 2-of-3 behind the arc, and went 7-for-7 at the free-throw line for a career-high 33 points in Bates' 76-72 loss to Southern Maine on Tuesday. He also had four rebounds and three assists.

Jason Banzhaf
Banzhaf notched a double-double with game-highs in points (23) and rebounds (11) in CUA’s 76-64 win over Frostburg State on Nov. 23 – it was CUA’s lone game last week.  The senior forward sank nine of 13 shots from the field, including both of his three-point attempts.

Michael McClary
McClary averaged 24 points and 9.7 rebounds in three games for the Comets, as well as blocking seven shots. He shot 26-for-48 from the floor and 20-for-22 from the foul line.

Women's
Becky Luetjen
Luetjen averaged 21.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.5 steals, and 3.0 blocks while leading Colorado College to a 1-1 record. Luetjen tied her career high with 29 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Tigers to a 69-52 victory over previously unbeaten Nebraska Wesleyan on Sunday. She also had four assists, four steals and four blocked shots against the Prairie Wolves.

Shataya McComb
McComb averaged 14.0 points and 14.5 rebounds per game and set her career-high in rebounding in back-to-back games. On Tuesday vs. UW-Platteville she snagged 14 rebounds and had a team-high 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting and added three assists in a close five-point loss. On Saturday versus Lakeland she reset her career-high with 15 rebounds and added eight points and a pair of assists.

Akemi Arzouman
Arzouman scored a career-high 25 points on 8-11 shooting in a 61-60 loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and added 16 on 5-of-8 shooting with eight rebounds in a 70-49 win over Pomona-Pitzer. She had tallied 15 points in season-opening loss to defending SCIAC champ Occidental.

Jennifer Wair
Wair recorded two double-doubles in wins against New Orleans and Texas Lutheran. She averaged 22.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game while shooting 74 percent (20-for-27) from the floor.  Wair scored 45 total points in 43 minutes played and pulled down 11 offensive and 11 defensive rebounds over the two victories.

Easter Faafiti
Faafiti led Gallaudet to a thrilling 80-69 upset win over nationally ranked Lebanon Valley in the GU Holiday Tournament championship game. Faafiti scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her first double-double this season against Lebanon Valley. During the two-day tournament she scored 38 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, made 13 steals and nine assists.
