Maureen Roberts
Roberts made seven 3-pointers in nine attempts and shot 9-for-11 from the floor from the floor, scoring 25 points with three steals and three assists.
Holly Roberts
Roberts was named MVP of the 2001 Skyline Chili Thanksgiving Shootout. On Saturday, in a rematch of last season's NCAA Tournament first round game against Centre, Roberts scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Saints won 89-88 in double overtime. On Sunday, Roberts added 18 points and six rebounds against Savannah Art & Design.
Niki Grubb
The MVP of the Hornet Tip-Off Tournament recorded a double-double (15 points, 13 rebounds) in 50-49 win against UW-Oshkosh in championship game of tournament. She scored the game-winning basket with 17 seconds left. Had 18 points with five rebounds in first game, an 84-68 win against Earlham.
Krista VanHauen
Van Hauen was named MVP of the North Central tournament as the Storm won the tournament title. She shot 6-for-11 from 3-point range and 13-for-23 from the floor, adding 10 rebounds and eight steals.
Alicia Davis
Was named the MVP of the eight-team National Catholic Basketball Tournament (hosted by Loras). The 6-4 post player led Loras to its first-ever team championship, women or men, in the 19-year history of the NCBT. She scored 66 points on 29-for-40 shooting, with 31 rebounds and 11 blocked shots in a 3-0 week.
Men's
Richard Sommers
Sommers scored a career-high 33 points in one game and hit a school-record eight 3-pointers, shooting 14-for-27 from 3-point range and scoring 56 points in two games. He added 11 rebounds and six assists.
Josh Stanek
Stanek netted career-high 31 points in 83-74 victory against No. 23 Augustana in scoring 46 points in two games for the week. Scored eight points in final minute to seal the win and went 16-for-17 from the line, 6-for-12 from 3-point range.
Mike Siuchta
Siuchta was named the tournament Most Valuable Player at Frostburg State's tournament as Widener defeated Waynesburg (100-87) and Frostburg State (81-71). Siuchta averaged 23.5 points, 10.0 rebounds 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals in the two games. He dropped in a game-high 28 points in the opening game against Waynesburg as he connected on 13 of 18 shots from the field and he grabbed 11 rebounds. He then scored 19 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the championship game.
Jesse Harris
Harris scored 40 points in two games in being named all-tournament at Nebraska Wesleyan's tournament. He shot 14-for-25 from the floor and 12-for-17 from the line, while adding 11 rebounds.
Joel Kolmodin
Kolmodin helped led Wheaton to a tournament championshp at its own Lee Pfund Classic. In a 77-72 win against No. 13 Wittenberg Kolmodin led all scorers with 25 and grabbed six rebounds with four assists, shooting 8-for-15 from the field and 5-for-5 from 3-point range.
