January 30, 2013 First-Place Baruch College Tops York Women’s Basketball JAMAICA, N.Y.— The Baruch College Bearcats, who lead the CUNY Athletic Conference with an unblemished conference record, showed why they sit atop the standings, as they topped the York College women’s basketball team by a score of 87-45 on Wednesday night at the York College Gymnasium.
January 25, 2013 Muirhead Grabs 25 Rebounds but York Comes up Short Against New Rochelle JAMAICA, NY— Sophomore Stayce Kay Muirhead pulled down a career-high 25 rebounds, while also scoring 12 points, blocking two shots and forcing five steals but her effort would be wasted as the York College women’s basketball team lost to the College of New Rochelle, 77-58, in a non-conference tilt on Friday evening at the York College Gymnasium.
