February 23, 2023 Eastern Closes Successful Second-Half Run in Little East Semis KEENE, N.H. – Competing in the Little East Conference men’s basketball tournament semifinals for the 13th consecutive time, fourth-seeded Eastern Connecticut State University trailed only once in the first 15 minutes of the game but 55.6 percent shooting from the floor in the second half was not enough to carry the Warriors in an 83-61 loss to top-seeded Keene State College Thursday evening at Spaulding Gymnasium.
February 21, 2023 Eastern Connecticut Catches Beacons in LEC Tourney WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – The Eastern Connecticut State University men’s basketball team reeled off ten straight points to close a 12-point deficit in the second half and senior guard Jalen Williams (Simsbury) sank both ends of a one-and-one opportunity with 58.5 seconds left to give the Warriors their first lead of the second half as the fourth-seeded Warriors advanced to the semifinal round of the Little East Conference tournament with a 62-58 victory over fifth-seeded University of Massachusetts Boston Tuesday evening at Francis E. Geissler Gymnasium.
