    The Yeshiva University women's basketball team's incredible season ended on Saturday night, as Yeshiva dropped its winner-take-all game to College of Mount Saint Vincent, 51-45, at Peter Jay Sharp Center. The Dolphins earn the No. 6 seed and will take on the third-seeded Mount Saint Mary College Knights on Tuesday evening at Kaplan Center.

    NEW YORK – The Yeshiva University women's basketball team suffered a hard-fought Skyline Conference loss to St. Joseph's University Long Island, 68-58, at Nat Holman Gymnasium on Tuesday evening. As a result, Yeshiva's final regular season game against College of Mount Saint Vincent, at Peter Jay Sharp Center, on Saturday evening will determine who will make it to the Skyline Conference Championships. The New No. 1 Scorer in Yeshiva Women's Basketball Program History: Senior guard Yuval Nitzan scored 13 points during the evening and as a result, she is now No. 1 on the Yeshiva University Women's Basketball All-Time Scoring List. She now has 1,160 career points. Nitzan surpasses Michal Alge ('19) who scored 1,159 point in her career. Nitzan tied and then went ahead of Alge thanks to back-to-back free throws with 12 seconds remaining in the game.

YU only had a one-game lead over Sarah Lawrence heading into tonight's pivotal matchup which made this a big victory for the Blue and White.

    The Yeshiva University women's basketball team earned a thrilling come-from-behind Skyline victory in overtime over College of Mount Saint Vincent, 52-51, at Peter Jay Sharp Center on Monday evening. Yeshiva (3-5, 3-4 Skyline) overcame a six-point hole in the fourth quarter, and then rallied from a three-point deficit in the late stages of overtime to snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat. With Yeshiva down 51-50 with just over a minute left, junior guard Daniella Bessler received a pass from classmate Shai Rahamim and knocked down a midrange jumper to put Yeshiva in front, 52-51, with 58 seconds left to play in the extra session. That proved to be the official game-winning shot as YU's defense came up big in the end to prevent the Dolphins (3-4, 0-4 Skyline) from scoring and allowing the Macs to secure the crucial conference victory.

    The Yeshiva University women's basketball team earned a thrilling victory over Five Towns College, 75-67 in overtime, at the Five Towns College Gymnasium on Thursday evening. That marks the second overtime victory the Maccabees pulled off this season as they advance to 5-7. Yeshiva trailed by five, 64-59, with just a minute left to play in regulation time. Sophomore Shai Rahamim buried a key 3-point field goal with 48 ticks left on the clock to pull the Macs closer. Senior Miriam Kazlow came up big on the next defensive possession by intercepting a pass attempt by Five Towns and feeding the ball to junior Yuval Nitzan, who drew a foul with 21.7 seconds left. She went to the free throw line and buried two clutch shots from the charity stripe to tie the game at 64 points apiece. That would be the score after regulation. The Maccabees were able to outscore the Sound, 11-3 in the overtime period to earn the gutsy come-from-behind road victory.
