March 13, 2017 D3hoops.com 2016-17 women's All-Northeast Region team A is for Ali Doswell of Amherst who is the Northeast Region Player of the Year. Amherst also has the Coach of the Year in G.P. Gromacki while Fitchburg State's Kyra Rose takes home the Regional Rookie of the Year honor.
April 14, 2016 Fitchburg selects Nagle for rebuild Fitchburg State was one of six teams without a win in women's basketball last season. Daniel Nagle, who was an assistant at Mass-Boston and a head coach at Worcester (Mass.) Academy, will try to turn the Falcons' program around.
