February 25, 2014 No. 5 JWU Women’s Basketball Knocks Off No. 4 Suffolk, 59-45 In GNAC Quarterfinals The fifth-seeded Johnson & Wales University Wildcats women’s basketball team upended fourth-seeded Suffolk, 59-45 in the quarterfinal round of the 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship at Regan Gymnasium on Tuesday evening. The win marks the first time since the 2008-09 season that the Wildcats have won a conference playoff game.
