No. 19 Loras went on the road and defeated No. 5 Wartburg on Saturday afternoon while No. 21 Trinity and No. 23 Bethel beat other ranked teams to take over first place in their conferences. Plus E'town stumbled No. 6 Scranton and UAA play began with wins for No. 16 Chicago and New York U.
No. 23 Bethel and Albright stayed perfect in similar fashion as both teams built big leads, lost them and rallied to victory. Elsewhere Illinois Wesleyan and St. Vincent asserted themselves in their conference races.
